Let the relegation party commence. This way like watching San Marino v England. An absolute waste of two hours of my life. Out of duty I sit here and watch it through to the end. I hope we do well next season, but truth be told, I couldn't give a **** if we never return to this God Forsaken division ever again. This season has finally answered the age old question...Would you rather be a good, successful side in the championship or a poor struggling side in the Prem ? The former, by a country mile. |

An awful performance, and we deservedly got nothing. Even in the games where we lose late and the result looks close- the gulf is huge. Whether it be passing accuracy, instant control, speed of thought, speed of foot, we're miles off the level required. I'm at a loss as to how any promoted side survives from this point. We'll get ridiculous fees for Delap and Hutchinson, but next season will be far from a formality. Take Cajuste out of midfield and in my opinion that leaves us with a weaker looking squad then when we last started the championship. |

I think we've put in commendable effort this season and performed well on numerous occasions. Defensively we've been appalling at times and the ruthless and clinical nature of the opposition has been too much for us.....way way too much for us. I'm totally relaxed about our fate and I'm not even wasting my time considering a 'great escape'. At this point it seems unlikely that we'll add to our tally of 17pts. I just hope the heads are held high and the performances full of spirit. A difficult thing to achieve when the inferiority complex has become quite evident over the past month or two. Personally, I hate the Premier league, and will be far more fired up watching us playing in the greatest league of all again next seaon. |

The only plus this season is that KMc's stock has not risen. On the downside Brentford, Brighton and Bournemouth's managers will be much sought after, leaving Kmc to potentially fill the void at one of these established and excellent sides. But, on this seasons evidence, that may still be beyond him. I'm not going to knock him. Those of us on planet earth predicted relegation in August, only to be pointed out by halfwits that we're negative and not real supporters!! Yes, he's responsible for the recruitment, and I like some of the signings. But defensively we are appalling, and the step up to the Prem is now nigh on impossible to bridge and survive. The pace and precision of the really top strikers cannot be understated. As always, there were some bright periods during the game, but the clinical nature of the oppositions finishing does for us every week. We're down and I'm relaxed about it. Stop thinking we're still in with a shout-we're not. Only then will you be able to 'enjoy' the last nine games of the season with no pressure. |

Everything connected to FIFA/UEFA is a joke. Ronaldo will soon be playing for Saudi Arabia. Having said that the amount of South African rugby players currently plying their trade in the six nations is remarkable. Club before country every time for me. So long as Hirst performs to a decent level for us I couldn't care less which nation he represents. To think of George being good enough to play international football is extroadinary in itself ! |

A decent effort against a team who will soon be a division above us. Teams at this level are faster, stronger, pass more accurately, control the ball better, think quicker etc. We are desperately slow individually, and for 85mins of most games play at a ridiculously pedestrian tempo that wouldn't harm nine players, let alone ten or eleven. Not many players are performing at a level that nail down a place. Townsend is a must start on Saturday. As a defender he is on a different level to Leif. Decent games for Woolfy and Johnson, though i dont trust either. Broadhead again proved himself to be a player who we all want to see start games, but when he does he flops. In the main i don't care who starts now, because we don't have an eleven that will get us out of the current predicament. Our first eleven(whoever they are) is no better than our second eleven(whoever they are). Disappointed and deflated. |

A **** up of seismic proportions. Other than for ourselves and Southampton, every Prem side would have wiped the floor with that Man U side tonight. But if you can't defend, you can't defend. And if you play against ten men in such a slow predictable way and test their keeper twice in that time, it tells you a lot. The omission of Burgess has been the strangest of several strange things this season. I'm at a loss. Even tonight's gift horse wasn't enough. That horse has now well and truly bolted into the distance, and the outcome is now inevitable. |

Whilst I like both Sam and Massimo, the thought of Casemiro and Ericsson being too quick for them in central midfield is quite alarming. That was certainly an area where I'd have fancied us hurting them with KP and Jens. Saturday felt like the "final nail". But as Wednesday evening approaches, against an opposition who are often awful, sometimes excellent, but generally mediocre, three points is not out of the question to haul us back into the scrap.

A terrific player, and for me, on a par with leif. He may not be quite the threat going forward, but his delivery is arguably as good, and he's certainly better at stopping crosses coming into the box at the other end. |
