Gave us some great memories but naive tactics taking on too many top class sides last year coupled with the signing of too many lightweight mercenaries cost us our place in the PL. Poor recruitment again over the summer with not much on the horizon will cost us. The non securing of Hladky's signature and his replacement started the downturn and it's been so disappointing to see the likes of Broadhead, Burgess and Tuanzebe leave. Fear that Woolfenden and Chaplin will leave if they are not played when they are so much better than what we've got. Hope the new mercenaries work but if not don't think he'll be here at Christmas. |
