Anyone looking at the ferry option should also look at Dover to Dunkirk options- slightly shorter car journey, slightly longer on ferry- but the Dunkirk ferry can sometimes work out cheaper, and then there's a bit of a fuel saving as well. |

That's not even Terry Butcher's bravest moment:
that came in the FA Cup v Luton when Ricky Hill kicked him in the face, smashing his nose which became a gushing fountain of blood. Butcher played on with blood pouring, every now and then giving a dab with a handkerchief. He lost several pints during hte match, and, over the next 24 hours needed, if I remember correctly, 9 pints of blood transfusion. A lesser man wouldn't have just passed out, he'd have died.
And his final Portman Road League game v Oxford(?) barely draws a mention. Smacks his head open, goes off for a few minutes, comes back with a head band and a snarl.
Added together he even beats Trautmann. |
