Not really sure I agree with the 'squad looking weak' comment.
The last two seasons we have been calling out for more attacking/goal scoring midfielders, which it looks like we now have.
Our attacking options have been vastly improved over the last season.
The only player that has gone that is any significant loss is Mings, but on the whole people seem to be pretty happy with Parr being replacement.
Obviously we don't have as much cover as we may need at the moment, but I wouldn't say the squad is 'weak'. If anything I see it as an improvement on the squad we reached the play offs with. Especially with a fit Didzy! |

Surely that's all part and parcel of football/business though cromwellblue?
It was never in doubt he would be receiving a better contract after topping the championship top goalscorers table, and helping our team reach the play-offs.
You would be an idiot to think otherwise.
Cheer up mate, doesn't hurt to be positive once in a while.

I don't understand why people would want to let Murphy go, after reiterating the fact he is now settled in Suffolk / happy being at ITFC both being contributing factors as to why he felt he had such a great 14/15 season. I have my faith that he will once again produce a lot of goals for us. Either way it's not just goals that count, he has great hold up play, strength and aerial ability! |

Just had a look at the fixtures list, and now understand why the Brighton game has been moved. This is how it looked before:
Sat 26 Dec 3:00pm Queens Park Rangers H
Mon 28 Dec 3:00pm Brighton and Hove Albion A
I'm guessing they're after another days rest before on to Brighton Away. |

Just as well we arrived early! Could have been organised a lot better for gates 1-9 Sir Alf fans. After 15 minutes of waiting around outside Rileys to be told we'd have to walk round the whole stadium to gain access, we managed to get to our seats 5 minutes before kick off! Best atmosphere from Sir Alf in the 10+ years we've had season tickets there as expected! |
