I have it on good authority that Evans was far from convinced regarding the number of league 1 players brought in and particularly some of the latter ones ( probably why it took a while to bring Nolan and nsala in). However Hurst has been given the benefit of the doubt and I hope that we stick by him. I am actually impressed by those two players and despite a shocking performance in 1st half against Norwich it got better. I am still in pro Hurst camp and think when we get the first win it could snowball. I hope my first sentence doesn't mean the owner is able to say I told you so in 3m time! |

Cannot believe Sears not starting as we need a goal threat with pace on break. Let's face it, we will be defending deep and hitting them on the break is probably our best chance along with set pieces. Come on lads we owe them one... I can still vividly remember John Barnes curling in a last minute free kick to earn them a 3-3 draw. I was there with my grandad who was a watford fan so it was a long trip home... Think it was possibly 1984 when they had the likes of blisset and Barnes et al but we were pretty good as well.those were the days |

As Jeff just said on sky sports we have really tightened up at the back with 15 goals conceded in last 14 games since Leicester defeat. This makes me very confident we will stay up if nicking one goal can be enough to get us 3 pts.
