Typical Ipswich ... Clean sheet and the player most of us want dropping scoring the winner. Hats off to Mick who keeps proving us wrong. Little worried for Knudsen however another shaky performance by all accounts. Bishop and Bru to return, will be interesting to see if they slot back in straight away. big guns are all starting to win ... Boro, burley, Derby . Fantastic result tonight though. |

Don't panic guys this wont happen !. Mick Mccarthy stated tabby has done 'alright' . From what we know of Mick if he was that impressed with tabb in that position he would come out and say it . We all know we are desperate for a couple of full backs and I'm sure Mick and Terry are too. We do need them sooner rather than later however as they need to bed into the team . Looking forward to this season as I'm sure everyone else is !!! |

i currently live in burton and many of my clients are derby fans . Most of the derby fans were disappointed in cloughs sacking as he was instrumental in bringing the young lads through and cutting the wage bills. However alot of players did not like cloughs no nonsense approach ( no surprise there) and one of these players was our beloved shefki kuqi. I would be happy to see nigel here at portman palace as he would suit our club. He is currently not looking for a club as he wants family time so i doubt he would go to sheffield utd so soon. I believe the irish fa are looking at a december appointment so we will wait and see ! |

excellent blog , thouroughly enjoyed reading it. i can back up this theory as i remember a certain west brom team keeping their team together over a few years and getting promoted 3 times from the championship, now look at what their acheivements have brought them. Mick seems to know what he is doing and every tractor boy around the country seems a little more optimistic this season. Bring it on |
