U18s Lose to Colchester

Colchester Utd's youth set up is benefitting from a Chairman who really believes in a strong and progressive young player policy and is staffed by a dedicated team of experienced coaches many of whom were needlessly cast aside by Roy Keane and Marcus Evan's money men in suits. Colchester has the benefit of Tony Humes, John McGreal, Sean Thacker, Wayne Brown and others who are now no doubt having the last laugh.
Bryan Klug faces a huge and long task in repairing the damage to Town's academy. Emphatic loses to the Us under 18s and under 16s shows what a difficult job he has.
