KMcK drove past my house!
at 22:54 9 Jun 2023

Does McKenna live Tuddenham way at all? Pretty sure I saw him driving down Humber Doucy Lane earlier (maybe he's renting one of the prefabs further up).

Will miss the footballers driving up my road in the autumn when they close HDL at Playford Road!

Colchester Road
at 19:12 18 Nov 2021

Does anyone on here live on Colchester Road? We're contemplating moving there and just wondered if you get used to noise of the traffic? Is it really noticeable when relaxing in the garden? Is the pollution a concern? We're currently on Humber Doucy Lane so it would obviously be quite a change but the properties on Colchester Road we've seen offer so much more in terms of space etc

Halloween PCR family outing this evening...
at 19:56 31 Oct 2021

After a delicious family veggie roast cooked by yours truly this afternoon, my mother in law (sat next to me) had her phone ping with a positive PCR test result - she has to have regular tests in her job as a carer. Thus ensued our guests hastily exiting with the rest of us all getting PCR tests this evening.

I find it absolutely astonishing that it is still being advised that I continue working until the result comes in (I'll have no choice but to work as I won't be eligible for sick pay without a positive test result). I may have worked in 6 different schools by the time I get the test result 🤦🏻

Any of you lot see Led Zep at St Matthew's Baths in '71?
at 21:51 24 Aug 2021

Just read that they're reopening it for the Sound City fest and they're hoping to put on future gigs as well. Was wondering what it was like seeing Zep or Cream there back in the day and what the rough capacity of the place might be?

Italy Spain

So what are we hoping for? 2 - 2 at full time, 3 - 3 after extra time then Spain win on pens? (however unlikely that might be given their pens record). Knacker out the winners for the final against (hopefully) England? (who will hopefully win comfortably at a canter tomorrow)

Pfizer Double Dosed!

Had my second jab this morning (exactly 4 weeks after my first dose). Apparently my doctors surgery have plenty of capacity and are smashing through them. Fingers crossed for minimal side effects, I'm solo parenting for the next 2 days and we're off camping on Monday morning! - got lots to do!

Both of them are coming out of this pretty appallingly but surprisingly he seems to be coming across as the more likely victim at the moment. It obviously might all change when she is cross examined. Who knows what the actual truth is though?! What a way to air your dirty laundry!
