 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 3-2 Bristol City - Match Report at 23:10:30
Just love the idea of the Leeds and Leicester lot finishing their games and getting all excited at seeing us 2-1 down - only for us to go and bang in 2 more! Amazing scenes. COYB!! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: A Wonderful Way to Win a Game at 19:58:24
Excellent analysis from KMc as ever. When Woolfy has to be the playmaker you know it’s a low press, and we sometimes looked short of ideas in the first hour. Clarke was found out of position a few times and their left winger prob should’ve at least hit the target twice. But, game completely changed after Broadhead’s goal and the confidence it brought. Thought Hutchison looked very good, and some brief flashes of class from Williams who will push his way into the starting XI eventually I reckon. Agree with you Mariner about Ramsey - great to watch - popped up everywhere, reads the game brilliantly, but clearly frustrated by the goals conceded and probably by the quality of those around him. A great afternoons entertainment. COYB! |

If Evans really is writing off £100m debt then should we be campaigning for a statue for him!? |
 | News Comment | Cambridge United 0-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 15:08:33
Great view of the incident. No excuses for Flynn - needless loss of temper - frustrated at the others around him not being up to his levels of fitness and play I suspect. He was one of the better performers today, thought Rowe, Wolfy and Norwood played well too. Poor Clements looked out of his depth and a few others short of fitness. Let's hope Flynn doesn't get an extended ban... COYB! |
 | News Comment | Scunthorpe Reject Blues Bid for Townsend at 20:23:34
Hardly surprising they rejected our offer if those figures are true. Hull would get 160k of the 400k so we actually offered less than Hull's 250k!? Lets back Hurst if he thinks he's the right fit... COYB |

I hope his tshirt isn't right and this is just an illusion!? Great work. Well done to all at the club. COYB!! |
 | News Comment | Chambers Joins Injury List at 14:32:27
Bit of a disaster. Seems odd to release this news a day before kick off. Keep it to yourselves til the teamsheets are released surely... Still really looking forward to tomorrow. COYB! |
 | News Comment | Norwich City 3-1 Town (4-2 on Aggregate) at 14:32:22
Heartbreakingly sad, and in part, very undeserved but there we are. As an amateur footballer, if I was in the same position, and situation, as Berra I would probably have handballed it there too. In a way I'm glad it was Berra, not Smith, who would've been lynched for it. Time to thank Mick and the lads for what has been a spectacularly good season, far beyond any realistic expectations. A good summers break, a big-value sale to sure up the finances (imho we should sell Mings if we can get any inflated price for him), then re-start from August with a larger support behind us and the belief that we really can crack this league. | News Comment | Fryers' Millers Spell Impressed McCarthy at 08:15:31
I remember Tommy Smith having some stunning games at Left Back at the 2010 World Cup. Putting him there would enable Chambo back to the centre - so perhaps a Right back was what we needed!? But super Mick knows best. COYB! |
 | News Comment | Doncaster's Friend Linked at 17:45:45
Unlikely to come to us over borough but is a top player. Very bright Chap, met him through a friend who knows him well. Got A levels rather than going full time at 16 but still managed to get to a premiership club within a couple of years of turning pro. Interestingly, he also runs an organic food company that supply football clubs with meals for their trainings centres and on matchdays! Sadly, too highly rated for our current budget I fear. |
 | News Comment | Villa's Cresswell Move at Early Stage at 11:01:36
Get real people. How can you turn down an offer that would yield a 3million pound profit!? No one seems to be considering Creswells own views on this. He will inevitably want to move to a large premier league and who are we to stand in his way? What might be the consequences of us stopping such a move? He will be annoyed at the club, it doesn't encourage other young players to aspire to play well to eventually play premiership football and his and the teams form will drop. Let's be sensible, if he wants to leave, take the money (which by the way is more than generous for a left back) and move on. |
 | News Comment | Saunders: Coppinger Could Move On at 11:27:50
Forget about Coppinger its George Friend we should be looking to sign from Doncaster. Only 24, a quick left back or left winger and can play centre-back. I met him when he was at Wolves n he's a decent bloke too, no arrogance at all. Doncaster made him their captain within months of him arriving before he got an injury. We could do with a few intelligent players like him - a footballer with A levels no less!! |
 | News Comment | McCormack Set for Hull at 09:03:42
How bad must our offer have been that he'd prefer a move to Hull!? |
