its stating the obvious to say that we need about half a team to compete next season but lets not forget the playoff final hasnt been played yet so technically the season isnt over so lets not panic.....yet.
Alot of good players have been released on frees this summer and this is a market we MUST succeed in using as it could allow us to spend that little bit more on the real key positions, IMO CB,RB,LB,CM,CF.
Kuqi, Dyer, Sol to name a few realistic targets. |

didnt hear anything to suggest a REAL affiliation with us, i dont think we will see him here based on watching him this morning. I honestly think staying at Hull & playing is his first choice. |

I would welcome Dyer back, 10k a week with half decent bonus's back at his hometown club. What could be better? Also i see Shefki has been released, would also love him back again(again,again!)
Sol Campbell for a season, looked suspect in prem but in our league could do a job.
Alot of decent players released this summer lets hope we get in on the act!!! |

Isnt Peter Whittingham top scorer at the moment?? He's a midfielder!! If only we had a high scoring midfielder again, shame we didnt have a chance to sign Ambrose.....oh hang on!!
I think next season will be massive for Connor, Stead in my opinion has a future as a target man with Priskin/Pablo in the mix. I would personally get rid of one of Priskin or Pabs and sign a league1 striker like Lambert or even Bekford from one of the teams that doesn't come up.
As im sure most fans will agree Keano has far from impressed and often bemuses with his decisions (Ambrose, Priskin in/out, Stead, Rhodes) but whats the point changing again and having ANOTHER season of adjustment. Give him his 2nd season and lets all hope and back the team ALL SEASON>??????????? |
