This goal sums up the absolute best of Morsy - a win built on pure individual determination, up there with Cov as an away trip for me. |

No, it’s Ellis D who is currently the e drummer with Fat Dog. FWIW Black Fondu will be the most interesting performance of the weekend, a pretty intense experience for the Smokehouse |

Me too. Still got a ball where he signed with a gold pen and the rest of the team did it in black... in retrospect I think I now understand why John Wark looked a bit miffed at the time. To be fair I was about 10 and he *did* have excellent hair. |

I had just turned 10 and ended up sitting next to a Grimsby fan who had the scars from a Chelsea smile and delighted in telling me how it happened when I looked over for slightly too long 😐 It’s also the game I fell in love with Boncho leading to many hours in the garden practicing overhead kicks. |

And with the exception of Greg Leigh, I think every Town player you see in that video has minutes in the Premier League. It really is extraordinary. |

I’ve re-counted, I think it’s 11 times…forgot multiples at Glastonbury and Latitude 😂 |

I think it’s highly likely given that someone went to the bother of having stickers printed up and then took them to a football match to stick up in toilets in the aftermath of a number of racially motivated riots, many of which have included the FLA. But thanks for your legitimate concerns. |

Great game but… Whichever bell/end decided to try and stick up “Ipswich / stop the boats” stickers in the North needs to have a little think about the international make up of our team and ideally dive off Felixstowe pier themselves. I imagine their identity can be worked out pretty quickly as they took a photo of it proudly in the North, seconds before the person behind them ripped it off. Delighted to see they were shredded almost as quickly as they were spotted. Uppa Town/Down the racists. |

Managed to do an accidentalposter crawl on Thursday night, two on Warrington Road, then the Arb, the hive, Good Inside and finishing up with a slash in front of one in the Greyhound gents. They look amazing, the posters, not the Greyhound gents. Amazing work 👏 |
 | Forum Reply | Signing up Ed Sheeran as shirt sponsor was a masterstroke....... at 11:36 16 Aug 2024
And it took years... I was asked for a contact for Ed in 2017 or something like that. Around the time he turned up with a Jonas Knudsen shirt on. Don't think anything happened that time, so they did a grand old job of getting under his skin. |
 | Forum Reply | Sheff Wed to eject fans wearing fake shirts. at 13:15 13 Aug 2024
But Ipswich don't charge £100 a shirt, they've kept the prices relatively low. The more fake shirts the less likely it is to remain that way I suspect. Personally I've got no problem with people who genuinely can't afford them getting fakes, but that doesnt apply to the majority of people I know who've bought them. |
 | Forum Reply | Anyone going to Latitude? at 13:25 25 Jul 2024
The headliners aren't great, but you've got The Mystery Jets and Waeve tonight (Graham Coxon if you are asking), the best live band around currently: Fat Dog (twice), Deadletter and a now ick free Kasabian, Antony Szmierek for all your streets needs, Mary in the Junkyard, if you want to get on the hype bus, The Mary Wallopers, John Cooper Clarke and Orbital, Big Special and American buzz band Been Stellar, Stewart Lee, Robin Incee, The Horne Section, Ash Picture Parlour and Nile Rodgers, plus three mercury prize nominees... Corinne Bailey Rae, Cmat and the brilliant English Teacher. Truck looks much better on paper this weekend but is actually clash city. So delighted I plumped for Latitude instead. |
