All the money Town spent on transfer this season wouldn’t have been paid in one go so the money for Hutchison which was approximately 20 million town would probably paid 10 million and then 5 million this season and 5 the next so we spent roughly 120 million this season on transfer I would say only 60 million came out of this year’s budget.
Prem teams are miles of it in some games for example Liverpool last week against Newcastle but if Liverpool had played like that against us Liverpool would still have beat us . Unfortunately the 3 promoted teams are not good enough for this level and so every time they play the opposition can have an off day and still win
Osman did it against West Brom in the 80/81 season kept a clean sheet 0-0 draw I can’t remember exactly but I think he was in goal for a good 40 minutes
On the back row 2nd from left is Don Souter only know because he is a Lowestoft lad played against him and hard as nails ended up being a prison officer at Blundeston with Terry Butchers dad
No 4-4-2 would be found out easily by any premier team we would be overrun in midfield. At the minute Morsey and Phillips are struggling with the system we play IMO I would personally go 4-3-3 when we are ont the attack and then 4-5-1 when we are defending that we way we would always have 3 central midfielders which would make us harder to break the lines at the minute teams just seem to play through us . Mind you I’ve watched football for 55 years and KM as forgotten more about football then I will ever know
Used to deliver to Roger when I was a postman in Bungay a lovely guy and he lived in a small terrace house where he walked out of his front door straight on to the street .You never saw him walk in Bungay without his dog and his clothes looked like he got them from a jumble sale
It is a remarkable stat but when you have Bobby Charlton who made his debut in 1956 and played his last game in 1973 and Ryan Giggs who made his debut in 1991 and played until 2013 that’s 39 years with just 2 players
I don’t post on here much but I will be amazed if KM takes the Brighton job IMO there’s not much upside in taking the Brighton job they have hit there ceiling pretty much he might get them to 7th at a push and that would be a great achievement. His stock would go higher if he stayed here and kept us up . The one I do worry about is Man Utd who finished 8th and whoever gets that job with that squad and money to spend will finish at worse 5th KM I’m sure would deliver champion league football in his first season plus the fact KM is a self confessed Man Utd supporter as a child
I personally don’t think he will leave when he does go I think it will be to one of the big 6 and to do that he will need to keep us up this year and the progress from there ie top 10 finish the following season
Very true keno yesterday morning we needed 3 wins to guarantee promotion now a win and a true will do it and neither team we play have anything to play for
