I think Mick see's Elliot as one he want's to use in the future hence making sure he is getting as much first team football now as possible. He could quite easily keep him here and have him on the bench as he is better cover as to some others we have, but with him actually playing first team football this will progress him far better than sitting on the bench. It is a good move as he will hopefully get games, but it's a long way to go for just a month's loan? Surely there was a more local club who would have taken him on? Not sure if this will have an effect on the player? |

he is mainly a centre back but can be chucked up front and is decent with his feet, however he is very clumsy and don't think would be a great addition as you will be punished a lot more in the championship compared to league 2 |
