 | Forum Thread | TOWN TV International subscriber at 06:44 22 Jul 2023
Living abroad I decided to subscribe to town tv and eventually found a way to pay my £19_99 per month without incurring conversion rates ie euro to sterling a question do I have to renew the payment every month or is it automatically renewed like a standing order? Also when trying to download app my I pad keeps telling me that this app is not available on this device anyone know why? Many thanks for any info. |

 | Forum Thread | Fortuna Düsseldorf first home game today at 06:32 26 Sep 2020
F95 have the first home game of the season today, 10,800 allowed in stadium which is 20% of capacity. Will be interesting to see how this pans out, my only concern is because of location of stadium getting there is heavily reliant on using the u bahn so no chance of social distancing. Not a bad day today Fortuna at 1300 hrs followed by the town on I follow at 1600 hrs day sorted . |
 | Forum Thread | No Football in Germany Before 31 August For Spectators at 18:29 15 Apr 2020
We have just had our fortnightly covoid update, the outcome is no large gatherings before 31 Aug, including sports , music festivals, fairs etc, it might be that all matches will be played behind closed doors but definitely no fans, also all places of education closed until at least 3 may, pubs and resturants the same only change is shops of under 800 sq meters can reopen from Monday under certain safety measures , so anyone thinking of attending any sports fixtures in Germany forget it. Take care. |
 | Forum Thread | Coronavirus Germany and low death toll at 10:57 13 Apr 2020
I read on here that Germanys low death rate is due to testing, but in my mind there are also other factors to be taken into account. I live in Düsseldorf and have been following the Robert Koch Institute, which is the german equivilant of uk public health office. I think the demographics of Germany have also contributed to low death rates,We have 83 million population, the biggest mass urbinization is Berlin 3 million followed by Hamburg 1.6 million, so no realy big cities compared to London etc., 65% of germanys population is between 15-59 years of age, and this age group has contributed to 74% of all cases, but obviosly this age group is more resilient as only having a 10% death rate whereas 22% of population is over 65 years oid they have contributed to 86% of total deaths, so my opinion is that as we have a low age average (46) as opposed to Italy(63) we have less mortality rate. This is just my thoughts for what there worth anyway stay safe and remember a space could save a life. |
 | Forum Thread | Everyone has an opinion but at 12:08 4 Mar 2020
What concerns me at the moment and please correct me if i am wrong the only way to voice our concerns as fans with what is happening to OUR club at board level is via the official supporters club , who i believe attend board meetings, does any one know if they have relayed our concerns to managment, or as so often is the case have kept their heads below the parapet? Phil do you have any insight into whether they are conveying our worries or just keeping a low profile and not rocking the boat. |
