Besiktas Targeting Cajuste
at 17:35:32

If he is going to cost less than £10m then he would have been signed by now. Either Town realise they cannot persuade him or he wants to play at a higher level or in European competitions in any case.

McKenna Some Bookies' Favourite For Brentford Job

Stop panicking. There's no way Kieran McKenna will go to a smaller club with fewer prospects of long-term success like Brentford.

Brentford Linked With McKenna Move Should Frank Depart For Spurs
at 17:46:43

I don't believe for a moment that he was close to joining Brighton or Palace. And the idea of going to Brentford who have already hit their ceiling is ludicrous.
Ipswich Town have far more prospects of long-term success than any club outside the top six of the Premier League. Why would he give that up for, at best, a sideways move to a smaller club?

He will certainly have to get used to the impatient, fickle, fair-weather fans at Chelsea.

Chelsea Strong Favourites to Sign Delap
at 11:02:31

Out of curiosity, if he went out on a season-long loan then would the relegation release clause (£30m) be void since Ipswich are already a Championship club next season? Then they could demand bigger fee for him. If Cunha, for example, is worth £60m+ then Delap must be in that bracket.

Chelsea Strong Favourites to Sign Delap

I cannot help thinking that Chelsea and Manchester United are his two worst options.
I'm surprised Arsenal haven't come in for him. He'd quickly become a legend at Newcastle or Everton.

TWTD Pepper Poster Updated For Latest Call Me Ted Artwork
at 12:58:47

A few years ago I invented and develop prototypes for an Ipswich Town themed card game. I still have the prototype. Is there anyone out there, connected to the club or otherwise, who would be interested in taking my design, updating it with the latest phase of the club's history, and developing it into production for sale, perhaps at the club shop with the club's approval ?

Despite my name on here (based on part of my ancestry in Scotland) I am originally from Ipswich but have lived in Colchester since the 1980s.

Downes? Seriously? He is trouble wherever he goes. No thank you. Let him suffer with Southampton.
It is true, though, that the team needs more strength in midfield to be able to hold onto games and not concede so often after being ahead.
This season has been characterised by losing so many points from winning positions. A more canny Ipswich might have finished mid-table but for being overrun in midfield.

McKenna Commits Future to Town
at 22:18:37

Why on Earth would he EVER want to go to a smaller club like Brighton or Crystal Palace? Far fewer fans and no history. If he stays at Ipswich for the duration of his contract he is guaranteed legendary status and a job for life if he wants it with virtually no risk of being fired unlike anywhere else.

Town Topic: Gamechanger Takeover Four Years On

Today marks the fourth anniversary of Gamechanger’s takeover of Town. While we're all hurting a fair bit at the moment, it’s been a remarkable period in the club’s history. What have been your highlights?

Undoubtedly, the highlight is the astonishing level of support and, despite the impending relegation, the continuous upward trend in performance at the club in every respect.

Johnson, Venus, Naylor and Brogan Inducted Into Hall of Fame

Frank Brogan - a true Town legend. He was a great penalty-taker. However, my main memory of him was in a pre-season friendly in 1968 against Arbroath. Town were 0-3 down at half-time but a Frank scored a second-half hat-trick to help in a 4-3 victory.
