BlueRuin69, the incorrect use of English does matter. Even though English is flexible enough to be understood with, admittedly, minor errors in its grammar, it is indicative of less-than-accurate thinking or reporting. Phil does brilliantly compared with the shoddy reporting on the BBC, for example, but this particular example seriously grates; it is simply wrong. |

Phil Ham, Please learn how to use the word "however" properly. It is driving me bonkers! WRONG: Hackney had been expected to get a Premier League move this summer, however, Boro are yet to receive any serious interest in the one-time Scunthorpe United loanee from top-flight clubs. CORRECT: Hackney had been expected to get a Premier League move this summer. However, Boro are yet to receive any serious interest in the one-time Scunthorpe United loanee from top-flight clubs. OR: Hackney had been expected to get a Premier League move this summer but Boro are yet to receive any serious interest in the one-time Scunthorpe United loanee from top-flight clubs. I am just trying to help! |

If he is going to cost less than £10m then he would have been signed by now. Either Town realise they cannot persuade him or he wants to play at a higher level or in European competitions in any case. |

He may end up rivalling Hermann Hreidarsson by being relegated with multiple clubs eventually because Burnley have no chance of staying up. |
 | News Comment | Brentford Linked With McKenna Move Should Frank Depart For Spurs at 17:46:43
I don't believe for a moment that he was close to joining Brighton or Palace. And the idea of going to Brentford who have already hit their ceiling is ludicrous. Ipswich Town have far more prospects of long-term success than any club outside the top six of the Premier League. Why would he give that up for, at best, a sideways move to a smaller club? |
 | News Comment | Chelsea Strong Favourites to Sign Delap at 11:02:31
Out of curiosity, if he went out on a season-long loan then would the relegation release clause (£30m) be void since Ipswich are already a Championship club next season? Then they could demand bigger fee for him. If Cunha, for example, is worth £60m+ then Delap must be in that bracket. |

I cannot help thinking that Chelsea and Manchester United are his two worst options. I'm surprised Arsenal haven't come in for him. He'd quickly become a legend at Newcastle or Everton. |
