| Forum Thread | Risk of Friday’s game being postponed? at 11:54 18 Oct 2023
Looking at the forecast for Rotherham on Friday, heavy rain from 10:00am onwards right through till the early hours of Saturday morning. Is the game possibly in doubt? I seem to recall last season Rotherham playing someone at home and there was a torrential downpour which created a lot of standing water meaning the game was abandoned (seems very bad for what appears a reasonably modern/new stadium!) |
| Forum Thread | Gillingham Tickets - a few back on sale at 14:25 4 Jan 2022
Looks like there are a few tickets back on sale on the website. I assume some people have had to return there's due to testing positive or don't fancy getting soaked. |

Will the new owners (Ashton & Co) possibly now be thinking of going after who many believe was their actual first choice? |

Anyone know if you can sell a ticket with someone else’s name on it? Friend has dropped out. Wasn’t sure with the ID and covid protocols. Cheers |

| Forum Thread | Mick’s old boys have to be dropped at 21:58 2 Oct 2018
Chambers is not good enough, much rather have Pennington in there with Nsiala and then janoi at RB. Skuse looks like my grandad walking round the pitch and has got the touch of a ‘I won’t even finish that sentence. But Christ don’t even get me started in Jonas Knudsen! How that guy played in the World Cup, Denmark must have conference lb’s to compete with him. Biggest loss of the summer transfer window not signing Townsend from Scunthorpe before he went to West Brom. Hurst needs to put his balls on the line and drop these players as he did with Bart when he was playing poorly. Rant over |

| Forum Thread | Bloke from sky basically confirming what we know r.e. waggy at 00:56 25 Jul 2018
@RobDorsettSky Martin Waghorn has told #itfc he wants to leave during this transfer window, and #dcfc are poised to sign him in a deal worth £8m. The 28-year-old striker has also been the subject of interest from #sufc But Chris Wilder told #ssn tonight the asking price is too high. |
| Forum Thread | Curtis Tilt at 20:59 22 Jul 2018
The guy from Blackpool’s local paper wrote this ‘Spoke to Gary Bowyer post-match today, he confirmed no bids have been accepted yet for Curtis Tilt. He did, however, admit it was out of his control‘. Am I right in thinking the owners those Oysten blokes use Blackpool as a bit of a cash cow? Surely just a matter of give and take on the fee and then it will be agreed? |
| Forum Thread | Ellis Harrison - Update at 12:12 22 Jul 2018
Big movements at our local clubs this weekend. After yesterday’s news of Mo Eisa joining #bristolcity from Cheltenham now #bristolrovers boss Darrell Clarke confirms Ellis Harrison is leaving. Both players will cost in excess of £1million. |
| Forum Thread | Top 5 League 1 and 2 managers under 45, win percentage wise at 11:04 24 May 2018
1. Danny Cowley (Lincoln) - 54.1% win percentage - age 39 2. Paul Hurst (Shrewsbury) - 50.% win percentage - age 43 3. Nathan Jones (Luton Town) - 50% win percentage - age 44 4. Darrell Clarke (Bristol Rovers) - 48.1% win percentage - 40 5. Kevin Nolan (Notts County) - 45.2% win percentage - age 35 Obviously style of play is very important and working within a budget as well, which would probably shake up that order which is purely based on results. FYI Jack Ross would have been 4th on that list. To me sounds like Paul Hurst has a very good balance of playing good football and getting results (which I do think we need to remember is the most important thing), and he can work well within a budget. Evans said he was going to take a ‘calculated’ risk to me that means he will go for a young progressive upcoming manager but one still with a high number of games under the belt in management (and preferably in England). Whatever happens we have our Ipswich back and there is a lot to be excited about next season! COYB |
