he is being made captain because he always plays well for ireland and everybody has 100% faith in him! he is one of my fav players and i hope he goes to a ball playing team like cardiff and shows keano exactly how wrong he is! he dosent fit into ur team at the moment because we dont play football we play hoofball
so lets get this right... thats our captain from last year mcauley off...... one of our best defenders wright off... our top scorer from last year stead- in and out of favour.....our good prospect garvan off..... rhodes gone...... interesting plan keane has going here!
i have to defend murphy about being a greedy so and so! because before he signed for sunderland he done a really good jesture to waterford utd his hometown club he was nearly out of contract and he knew that he was leaving but he signed a new contract so to insure that the club got a transfer fee for him and the 10% sell on clause! this to me dosent sound like a greedy player so i dont think people should be slagging him off without known the full facts there could be a whole lot more to the story that nobody knows nething about and a footballers carreer is a short one so im think he is entilted to do what is best for him and his family!!!
must say its the first time ive seen Championship football called a standard above International football!! even at under 21 level! if anything it means he is playing good football in a team not as good as town!
town fan from from waterford his home town here! im 50/50 on weather this is a good move by keane! on his day murphy is a good player very much a confidence player i know him personally aswell and it kinda went to his head at sunderland so he needs to knuckle down and prove himself! so if his head is right and he puts his break up with his girlfriend etc behind him everything should work out good! on another note another waterford man brian murphy trained with town today ahead of his move which will be completed when the irish season is over!
