 | News Comment | Chambers: PFA Should Spend More Cash on Research into Heading Dangers at 12:15:20
A very good point well made by Chambers. Perhaps it was worse when the balls were heavier but even now It really can't do be a good thing. If decisions have to made that will change football as we know it so be it. Dementia is ghastly thing to happen to anyone. |

Glad to hear. Must have seemed like the end of the world having to pack up playing at such a young age. Hopefully he'll do very well. |

I agree with both Mathie and Wymark, I too was a great fan of Trevor. I also have fond memories of John Wark's four against WBA. I took a mate of Brendan Batson, WBA, who got us passes to the players lounge for after the game. It was like a buffet both sets of players, the ref etc all digging in. I'm sure they don't do that now. As it happens Brendan went off injured in that game never to play football again. I still have the programme signed by Warky with a big 4 beside his name. |
 | News Comment | Rangers and Premier League Side Chasing McAuley at 15:27:21
The truth is when a Premiership side or SPL outfit comes knocking it will be very hard to defend against a realistic bid. The player will usually want to try his hand at a higher level and it doesn't come much higher than the Champions League as in the case of Rangers. I'd be sorry to see him go but wouldn't blame him for taking a chance, his treatment by a PR minority at the beginning of last season won't have helped. |
 | News Comment | Speculation on Keane\'s Future Grows at 07:36:09
ME is a business man, he will be weighing up the sale of season tickets and future success against the impact of compensation to Keane. Personally I am pretty certain Roy will make it as a a good manager, possibly not here though. |
 | News Comment | Memories of Mariner at 09:29:48
I remember the cup semi against West Brom. There were plenty of brakes for injuries, we were 2-1 up. In one brake he came across to chat to the crowd, very ordinary, pleasant chap. As a player so strong and sharp. |
