Linked Duo Set to Leave Yeovil
at 17:38:18

I've been told that Ipswich are one of a number of teams who have been scouting Matt Grimes at Exeter.

He would be an excellent signing, the boy is quality. He needs to add goals to his game and then he'd be a top player.

Clegg: Debt Size No Huge Concern
at 16:41:26

Sounds worryingly like those who use to be in charge at Plymouth used to say here in Devon. "The debts manageable, blah, blah....when we get the world cup bid or reach the premiership, blah, blah....Don't worry the owners have promised to keep inputting money...."

I guess the time to get really worried is when Peter Risdale turns up for a home match while on a supposed holiday in the region, you'll never be able to get rid of him!:)

Norwich Linked With Ayala
at 11:18:50

Ipswich scouts have been apparently watching Exeter a lot lately & were at the Stevenage V Exeter game watching a central defender.

Richard Duffy was one of City's best players last year & could easily play championship football. On the other hand Troy Archibald-Henville is young but has the potential to play higher.

Mixed Results for Town in Price Survey
at 20:02:51

That survey is rubbish, it seems not much thought went into it. Down here in Devon they've Plymouth as one of the cheapest in league 2 for £10 but that's only for the Carling Cup match at home to Millwall. There cheapest league price is £20 making them one of the dearest team in the league.

Fallon Returns to Plymouth

Sean McCarthy would have seen Fallon play many times at Argyle & would probably have had an input about him. Thankfully he's gone back.

Town Topic: Who Should Replace Keane?
at 17:18:31

Paul Tisdale would be ideal for Ipswich. Having seen him work wonders down here for Exeter. The style of play is well suited for Ipswich, Exeter are a really good passing team & Tisdale's man management is fantastic & his players give him great loyalty because of it.

He's also could have left Exeter many times Swansea, Reading, Southampton are some of the clubs who have tried to take Tisdale away from City & he could have quite easily made more money for himself at a bigger club but each time he said he's happy where he's too and hasn't finished his job at Exeter.

Tisdale also looks to the future of the club. At Exeter he has spent some of his transfer budget on tarmacing the training ground car park so it give prospective signings a good first impression of the club. He's also spent some of his budget on having the pitch dug up & relayed so our players can play their passing football on it.

I would hate to see Tisdale leave Exeter for any one but he will manage a bigger club one day & I would sooner it be Ipswich than anyone else.

Sheffield Wednesday Town\'s Rivals for Fallon
at 10:02:16

Oh dear, still can't believe Keane still wants to give Fallon a contract & what's worse is we are actually going to pay a fee for him!

The only club to show any interest in Fallon were Southend & Argyle were keen for him to leave so they could get him off their wage bill. The Argyle fans I know were keen for him to leave because according to them he's a complete donkey. I don't know why we have agreed a fee for a player we could have had for nothing!

Argyle are desperate to off load their players before they have to go back to the high court in Febuary. Noone (good player) is on his way to Brighton, other clubs are showing interest in Wright-Phillips but his wages will put a lot of clubs off.

I don't know who values how much players we're buying or selling at Ipswich but I would say over the last few years they have got many valuations completely wrong.

Fallon Signs on Loan
at 16:33:41

Shocked!!!

Can't believe Ipswich are signing this complete donkey. Living down here in the Devon he's one of the total dross on high wages that Argyle have been trying to get rid off. Saw him play against Exeter & he's slower than a cart horse. If we had to get a forward from Argyle then Wright Phillips would have been the best signing, another player Argyle are trying to offload because of their money problems. Plymouth's board must think christmas has come early by being able to off load Fallon.
