There was the line about players committed to us at least until jan in the press conference. Should imagine wes has a seat in the dressing room at Wrexham waiting for him. He would be great for them, will be a sad day when he leaves. |

We've got problems of am opposite nature on our plate fast approaching. We still have 3 irons in the fire that we know about and a squad size to be registered of 28...there's going to possibly be a couple sitting here unregistered picking up a wage due to injury or non selection if we cant get the deals going the other way.
And yeah woolfenden has to be one that sadly goes. Part of the squad evolution but he is plenty good enough to be playing every week in this league. We just won't give him that. |

Im in a camp of saying its win at all costs and not just this week but over the next month or so, I think we need as a new squad to find that mentality, feeling and establishment.
I think the nice football then comes as a bi product I trust mckenna to take care of that and hopefully we land some big targets this week to help enable it. |

Im on holiday at the moment and have spoken to a fair few forest fans. Whenever you mention Hutchinson its like they have barely noticed he's arrived. Our crown jewel to a place of uncertainty and non significance really hurts as someone that massively admired his talent, and felt in him leaving he was completely and utterly dictated to by an agent that saw personal gains from a client who had a good summer of tournament football and had made a move a year prior with Premier league pound signs in the eyes.
Don't get me wrong, im sure the 60k a week or whatever it is is appealing for omari, but the agent fee and signing on fee would of been massive to make sure it landed at forest. |

Ive seen enough of Taylor to know he's a bench option but not a constant fixture in the team. I should imagine he would have ambitions to play week in week out at his age, I think there was a piece at the back end of last season hinting at him wanting more game time, I just don't see that here unfortunately. He's one that cost a bit with add ons, and has never really set the world alight or had a massively stand out run of games. Shame to be honest as he's one I had high hopes for |

Don't think it would be unreasonable for people to feel frustrated if we cant get a couple sorted this week. We've felt the frustration of a couple of panic buys in the last couple of summer windows that have always not worked out. The rumours are far quieter than im comfortable with considering how much mckenna has made it clear we need to do.
I'm starting to sense some concern because of the Hackney and azon situation where things drag then don't get over the line, we're running out of time where we can get away with that, realistically each signing seems to be taking a minimum 7 days from initial rumour. It feels a bit long compared to previous windows but that may be virtue of waiting for something exciting and knowing we have funds to make a go of it. |

It's beyond doubt we will have done, it would be very ipswich for this to be 5% but I trust the new ownership to be savvy in this regard and protecting assets financially long term, delap may have been harder to do so as it was a release clause so when triggered there's no further negotiating. Hutchinson on the other hand I would be dissapointed if 25 per cent isn't in there |

This feels like the start of us getting a couple of marquee signings done with serious intent now the wantaways have finished with us.
This would be a serious bit of business for this league. And truly I think this is just a Broadhead/hutch replacement, can see an equally big deal for a major centre mid coming.
Azon in by Monday you would hope, and if that defender makes his way over as well that's us done... |
