I have witnessed staff handing out trial flyers like confetti rather actually trying to select or recruit 'good' players.

Great start for the Blues but everyone knows we are abit thin on the ground. One or two injuries to key players and we would be struggling. How can other teams tie up deals so quickly??? Bristol City (Davies and Baldock), Charlton (Fuller) and Cardiff (Tommy Smith).

Now then: we are not going down or up this season - probably finish about 10th.
So, Tuesday 25th Jan is our biggest game...the 9,000 strong support need to do their bit: everyone wear something blue, take scarves, flags, balloons and ticker tape. Make as much noise as we can for 90 mins and help our troops get to Wembley!!!!! COYB COYB COYB............ |

I agree tom_the_blue!!!! We are definitely taking shape and Scotland/McCormack seem likely to arrive (fingers crossed). But we do need a right back with abit of nouse - why did we get rid of david wright???? Surely liam rosenior is better than peters???.......Finnan would be absolutely ideal and then we would then be a very good team!!!!!!! |

I saw the first half only as I was only on my lunch break from work so can't comment on the second.
Until the Bruce slip it was completely one way traffic with Town in possession looking quick, sharp and dangerous around the box. No word of a lie Priskin should have scored 4.......I like him and his style but he's lost all his confidence in front of goal. Martin was class until he got near goal aswell. Bruce looked strong and hungry, apart from the slip looked good.
With the players on view this afternoon we should of hammered Southend but huffed and puffed without being clinical enough.......Im sure I've said that already this season????? |

Definite Norris goal. He got a touch towards goal (not going wide or over), it has taken a deflection into different part of the goal.
Well done Norris; Centre midfielder inside opponents six yard box in first 20 seconds of game. Great gamble and what a great engine the little fella has, him and Leadbetter will be very very good together from now until May!!! |

Also agreed....he is already a very good player. BUT we wouldn't need him if these "loan" signings came to fruition.......where the f**k are they? Two players (hopefully a CB and CF) were meant to be coming on board in the two week break.....we are at the end of the first week and it's all gone quiet again...what a shock!!!...........I suppose we'll sign someone next Friday, expect him to bed in immediately and score a hat-trick against Swansea the following day?????? |
