Whilst I’m pleased that Hutchinson is coming back I do think that comments like we have pulled Chelsea’s pants down on this deal are a bit premature. Yes he really improved during the 2nd half of last season but he will now be playing at a completely different level. Who knows if he will be able to step up and produce the same sort of form next season.
There will be a lot of pressure put on the lad by some supporters to produce the goods right from the start and I can just see if after 10 games into the season he isn’t some will be saying what a waste of money.

If this is confirmed think I will wait and see how it pans out before getting too excited.
Remember when Louie Barry came to us on loan a few seasons back and Villa fans were saying we had a gem on our hands. That went well! Since leaving us he has been at Swindon, MK Dons and Salford.

To say we matched them for a lot of the game is a bit of an overstatement IMO.
If Palace had taken their chances they could have been 3 up at h/t. The positive is we hung in there even though at times there was a considerable difference in class which you would expect.
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can get a few more signings in especially at CB. |

If it is not about money and the lad loves the club so much then why not sign the contract?
If he is as good as some people reckon and became a regular first team player for us then no doubt he would soon be picked up by a bigger club. Hopefully it will work out for the lad and he doesn't end up regretting the decision but as has already been said often these kids sign for a premiership club and you hardly hear anything about them again. |

Some West Brom fans say they will be glad to see him go as he is lazy and lacks stamina.
Sounds like when he first came into the side he was impressive but then went backwards quickly.
