Great season overall...really looking forward to the next now. |

He must be injured or lacking match fitness. I don't think MM would have left him out for any other reason. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Delighted With Response at 23:43:06
Superb game tonight! Portman Road was going crazy! Hopefully we can keep hold of Williams as he made the difference. Mick McCarthy is doing a fantastic job, still in with a chance for the play-offs this season but if not then with a few smart signings in the summer we have a massive chance next. COYB |

Souperjim, in my opinion, you make a lot of sense. The bigger picture is far more important than a few bad results now and the possibility of not making the playoffs this season. |

I appreciate people have their own opinions, but in my view I just cannot see how this club would benefit from getting rid of McCarthy or Evans. A new manager would have to start all over again, spend tonne of money which we do not have and would probably shake things up for the worse. Unless a new owner comes in and wipes of all our debt (which would probably mean having a new stadium name or something similar which will rile up a lot of fans), then it will be unlikely that they would be able to do any better than Evans is now. Granted that Evans has not brought us success so far, but I would far rather have our owner than say Birmingham's, Leeds', Blackburn's, Cardiff's etc. etc. What Evans is attempting to do with our academy is something that we should be very grateful for. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Eyeing McLean at 10:38:52
Scotland under-21 boss after the game: “Kenny McLean, Stuart Armstrong and Callum McGregor were outstanding and looked every inch modern day players." He may well have given Mick something to think about. |

Some people write some absolute dross on here. Fickle fans are the epitome of what is wrong with modern day football. |
| News Comment | Town Unchanged and Green on Bench at 14:19:19
It is a shame about Taylor, but I trust Mick's judgement. He is just obviously not Mick's type of player/character. |
| News Comment | Players Review Preston Performance at 10:28:02
Good approach from Mick, lets hope that the players will learn from the Preston game plus the second half against QPR and start pushing up the league again. COYB |
| News Comment | Hyam Out to Win Over Detractor Boys at 19:58:20
Have to give Luke Hyam a lot of respect for this. He has obviously taken the jeers in his stride and has a brilliant approach in dealing with them. Great to see that he is not sulking about it or feeling sorry for himself. Well done Luke. I hate hearing boos at Portman Road, they are just so unnecessary and do not help in any way. I could understand them more during poor performances under Jewell and Keane, but people need to stop and think before booing Mick McCarthy's sides. Absolute peanuts spent in comparison to the other two and look at where we are in the table in comparison! I was really frustrated after the Charlton game in terms of the result and to concede late on...but what annoyed me more was to hear a few boos ringing around the ground. Whether these were aimed at the referee I do not know...but then again neither would McCarthy or the players! I would urge those who have a tendency to vent their frustrations in this way to just think first before doing so. After all, there is a lot to be positive about! COYB |
| News Comment | Stevenage Praise for Town Support at 16:39:41
Well done Pallestine and Britton1996, somehow you have both managed to put a negative spin on a very positive post. Congrats... |
| News Comment | McCarthy After Repeat Performance at Palace at 10:26:57
Great to hear N'Daw played well, I never understood why Jewell left him out of the squad. Adds that bit of strength to the back that we need. Lets hope these comments are twice as positive after the visit to Selhurst Park, a point will be a great result. COYB |
| News Comment | Childhood Memories Flood Back for New Boy Loach at 22:22:03
Cracking signing and at such a cheap price! He's still young and hungry to do well for the club, this is exactly what we were all after midway through last season. #Inscottloachwetrust |
