I can understand a lot of long term season ticket holders not really seeing how this will affect them. My point would be that the last of their responsibilites listed is that they will increase interaction with younger fans and could be very beneficial. All of your children are the potential next generation of itfc fans, anything that makes a game more enjoyable for children and keeps them coming back is a good thing. If this increased interaction is well planned and successful then we will have new young fans following ipswich. If it turns out that no such increase happens then the club have lost nothing by trying something which has worked elsewhere. So lets all wait till the season starts before criticising this particular club initiative at least! |

i dont think its that jewell is signing players for less to keep his job, ultimitely his role is to get players who will gain us promotion however there less money available to him this year and also players are not going to take the pay cuts necessary for us to be able to have any chance of signing them, which is unfortunate as it seems that the gap between the chmpionship and premier league is only increasing but thats a different discussion altogether |

@Paulsimmons - your comments make no sense! you were just calling for us to spend some real money on players now ranting on about youth players that have moved on?? milwall took fewer points than us last season so i hardly think being a stand out player in their team means he would have done well in ours, our midfield i think is actually relitively strong, i cant see how u can be so negative about these things? |

Agree with ITFCforlife, it does look very promising and Paulsimmons are you mad? you dont have to spend real money on a player it usually ends up with egotistical players, i will be very pleased to see chambers in an ipswich shirt!
