What other manager could get us promoted on our budget though? He is our best hope, he knows how important promotion is and he is trying his very best to do all that he can to acheive this. I think people have got to stop living in the past, we are a mid table club that is over acheiving thanks to a great manager. If you want something more than play off defeats and FA Cup embaressments then a miracle needs to happen with our budget. Be greatful that we have Mick! |

Good blog, agree with most things apart from if we don't get promotion you want MM out because of loosing a FA Cup game. Even if we had beat Pompey we would more than likely get turned over against Eddie Howes side so we would be no better off in reality. So to call for his head unless we have a sucessful Fa Cup run or win promotion is stupid, you sound like the Leeds United owner. What happens if we loose on pens in the play off final? |

I don't get why our fans still moan about this, we knew what we were getting when we took on MM , yes it's boring to watch and not what we were use to but it's effective in getting results and that's what matters, he's consistantly improved our team year after year so he knows what he is doing. We do not have the quality in our squad to suddenly become a passing pretty team, just look at the prem now, a lot of teams are winning with less possession. Are Leicester fans moaning like us right now when they have constantly have 30% possession? |

We were better than them from open play all over the pitch, which is encouraging knowing we can go to a side that plays good football and look fairly comfortable coming away with 3 points. Mings is going to go all the way in my eyes and I think we hold the best back 4 in the league. Onwards and upwards Town! |
