So glad this is just your opinion. sometimes I think the bloggers really have very little idea what the hell they are talking about. Leave the ground as it is. The statues are justification of the status the has around the world. If we start naming stands after players then we really need to be looking beyond their playing career to accept that they are acceptable role models. Could you see Liverpool naming a stand after Andy Carroll for example? We have the Bobby Robson stand as well. Managers you have mentioned would be nowhere without the abundance of cash given them and Muriniho doesn't stay anywhere because he falls out with everyone wherever he goes.

Kennedy: Players Need to Look at Themselves

I haven't been to a training session in many a year. But it seems that perhaps a few players are not there either. When they cross that white line they seem totally clueless as to where they are supposed to be playing and who is even on their team, what formation they are supposed to be playing and who they are supposed to be marking. Whether they are playing a defensive back line or pushing up to squeeze the play but ready to drop and nullify the breaks.
I missed the 1st half hour Saturday as I was coming home from my game. But by time I had settled in front of the TV we had gone from 1-1 to 4-1 in just a few minutes. How the defence can capitulate so easily is totally beyond me. And to such a poor team as Peterborough. it really raises serious issues about the future of all the defenders in this team.

Jewell: We\'re In There Fighting For Jimmy

Personally, I really don't care if Jimmy joins us or not. Will he ever be fit enough not just for one whole game but consecutive matches? He inspires people around him when things are going great but how is he when we are in the trenches and scrapping for our lives? I would love him onboard but worry about the arduous nature of Jimmy being up for a relegation battle. We need eleven battlers out there at the moment and it seems we only have one, a goalkeeper who could be recalled by Fulham at any time which would leave us well and truly up the swanny. If Jimmy wants to sweat blood than get him and give him a reasonable fee but dont burst the bank for him.
