Yes you're right. I just think, that it is always their intention to do this with the young players they scour the world for. They might give them a small chance, but unless they are truly truly exceptional, they will be moved on for a large profit. Because they have Chelsea on their cv, it seems their transfer value increases greatly.
Even with just one appearance? My point was equally about their quick disposal of players, and not using what they have to replace an injured player. This player was only one year into a 7/8 year contract.
