I truly despair that anyone would use an image of a child who has died from cancer to be used in any form of jest or taunt. I lost my 5 year old son Harry, to cancer 3 weeks after Bradley died in 2017 to AML. It seems there is nothing sacred anymore in our society. It’s been a tough day today!
I sincerely hope the club do not venture down this route! If you remember back to Roy Keane’s time, the press conferences lasted about 40 minutes. But only 10 minutes was dedicated to Ipswich! I Our club is Itfc first and the manager second! It became a circus during the latter stages
I’m thinking Mark Ashton may have to reiterate the pre season pr to the players about walking into adversity. Considering the emergency services pension fund from Arizona that is bankrolling our club currently! I know it’s only a pizza cup game, but the players we had on the pitch tonight, had more than enough to win! It’s so frustrating. We don’t ask much currently. We want to win a few games and be entertained and have a little hope that there may be success in the future. I think the goodwill that Paul Cook garnered earlier in the season, is starting to evaporate.
There is a covenant that states that Portman Road must be used as a sporting facility! The club owns the stands and everything else that encompasses it. Yet the land belongs to Ipswich Borough council !

It is such a divisive subject! Before my son's leukaemia, I knew very little about cannabis oil. When he was sent home on palliative care, with untreatable secondary tumours in his brain and central nervous system, we prepared for the end! My wife and I, decided we had nothing to lose, did our research and purchased cannabis oil, which did not contain the THC ( the element that causes the high) Within 5 days of us giving it to him, the change was incredible. He was walking, talking, eating, alert. Bare in mind, he had been bed ridden for 2 weeks, being fed through a tube! We took him back into hospital, where they gave him a CT Scan, the tumours has completely vanished. The neurologist couldn't explain it! Was it the oil? Who knows! We will never know, because a week later, he died of septic shock! When they performed his post mortem, there was no tumour in his brain, no residual tumour, nothing! I certainly think, greater research has to be done! Can cannabis oil cure all cancers? Unlikely! Can it be used for targeting specific cancers, almost certainly! I would caution, sole use! Chemotherapy, is a cruel, invasive medicine! But it has been proven to work! Until we know more, it's the best option we have!
I received a message from Matt, this afternoon, to let me know he finished his descent of Snowdon, having started his ascent of Nevis first thing yesterday morning. Sustained a foot injury, coming down Scaffel Pike, he didn't quite make the 24 hours, but completed it nevertheless He is a broken man, but a bath and a cold beer, will aid his recovery! From both of us, can I thank you all for your kind and generous donations.
Mick McCarthy had the support of the fans for the first 3 years, until he decided to treat us with contempt! Every club he has left, he created a division between the club and the fans! Boll~<Cks to the be careful what you wish for brigade!!
May I take this opportunity to thank all of you, who have donated, sent messages of support and raise an incredible amount in memory of Harry, to help Candlelighters. We had his first birthday, Tuesday, without him with us! It has been an emotionally draining few days. But, we carry on. I will keep you updated on Matts progress.

Well I'm speechless at the generosity from you all. I never imagined that I would even hit the original target but you guys have helped to over double it in just one day! Gary will tell you all how much help this charity has helped him and all his family over the last year. The money donated helps people so much in situations I can't even begin to comprehend. From Candlelighters and myself thank you so much! Hold your heads up high! And feel free to keep sharing!
May I just say, I am completely overwhelmed, by all your generosity and kind thoughts. Throughout the day, I have seen the total increase. It makes me so proud to be a blue. To the board of TWTD, I am humbled and I salute you all for honouring my son Harry. Thank you!
