Thread | Morrell set to sign for Pompey tomorrow?

Seems an increasing confidence that Joe Morrell will sign for Pompey tomorrow, according to a few people their end.
I have been very impressed with both Evans and Harper so far in a Town shirt so thought it would be odd if Morrell joins us knowing that he is likely to be third choice.
Obviously all whispers etc, think the idea of signing Morrell ahead of Pompey was more exciting than the actual signing himself within some of our fans.
We shall see.

The only real ‘in the know’ guy on Twitter has spoken… for those who want to know what he said, I think I’ve copied below.
No great surprises both could be on their way. In terms of fees, what are we thinking? Downes looking at £1.5m + or is that too ambitious now? Barnsley reported interest, could West Brom now be keen based on new manager? Bishop an odd one, Cambridge the obvious link but in terms of a fee? |
