Any ideas when it will be shown anywhere, isn't it usually out before now, except for last year I think, trying to sort pre-orders out? |

I agree!! Massive step up, no time to prepare a Prem squad with getting promoted far earlier than expected and not having the parachute payments both Leicester and Southampton has, making it extra difficult, but we are above both of them and no too far away from Wolves, so all is not lost!! Would have been nice to sign more players with Prem experience and build, rather then reply on the best of the Championship and a huge lump of L1 players, always going to be tough, but if you think back to the way we dug in against Villa, Spurs and Arsenal away, we can defend if set up to defend initially but the ability to break away which we have shown we are capable of. I like the idea of Hirst up front and Delap on the right, but can see the massive risk that could be with not having a 3rd striker of their mould, but it is getting worrying close to the end of the season and maybe, just maybe, a change may help us force some points from teams we wouldn't do playing as we are? |

I agree, I find it a little weird that when we played Spurs away, we played a solid 3 at the back to counteract Son, which worked really well, but when we played Saturday , yes I know we were at home, but still, we reverted to more of a 4 which left our right back 1 on 1 with Son, which was a little dangerous to say the least, and what I thought strange was it wasn't changed until half time, when we could have been 3 or 4 down, a little strange I thought, it wasn't something that was going to get better was it. Even when he made the change he just stayed with the same formation and hoped O'Shea would be better than Godfrey. KM has been truly amazing for this club but we need points, even a point every game would get us out of this relegation situation (possibly) but trying to play long standing, experienced world class players with the team we have and hope we can outplay them like we did teams in L1 and Championship is a little nieve. I will say it's certainly not over as yet there are points out there to get but we much beat Wolves and Leicester and hope that it's enough, but let's see!!! |

Please be prepared for the overwhelming stench of cannabis, rubbish on the streets and numerous, in fact huge number of people trying to sell you anything from counterfeit trainers, watches sunglasses on every street corner and, of course drugs. On the plus side, the main sights are still amazing. Staying near Times Square is always highlighted as the place to be but that is where more of the issues are I have highlighted, so if you want some advice I would stay further away from there and walk there f you want to be in it, be nearer 5th Avenue or Central Park, just wanted to give you my thoughts. We stayed in at Aliz Hotel, really small but really nice place!! One bonus when we were there was as we were waiting for a Pedicab to take us around Central Park (it's huge) I was sat at a cafe a few minutes away, and I saw this chap walking towards me and thought "that can't be who I think it is", and didn't want to stare, so turned away, only for the person to come back and say "I thought I would come and shake your hand for wearing that shirt" (Town white away kit), the chap in question was Tyrone Mings, had a brief chat with him about his fitness and then he went on his way, nice man. Not sure it helps but thought I would let you know my thoughts Hope you enjoy!! |
 | Forum Thread | 2 Tickets for Crystal Palace game available, only want upgrade costs for tickets at 11:00 28 Nov 2024
Hi, we can't make the game next week, so have a couple of tickets available if anyone wants them, we have done this for a couple of games this season, we will have to upgrade them to whoever wants them as they are currently a disabled and carer ticket, but if anyone is interested and will be willing to pay the upgrade I will be more then happy to see them used, rather than they sit empty. DM if interested and I will let you know what the upgrade is which isn't the full price for the tickets, but just upgrading from the cost we have paid, if that makes sense. |

The only thing I can think of to help is, that he may well have been influenced by McK while at Man Utd..........you never know what the pull of our manager is!! |

I think that fact they are even willing to offers means he can't compare to playing in Man United first team, as he won't be, I know it is probably (likely) out of our reach but thought for something around what we paid for Omari he would be an awesome asset if he would take the pay cut!!! |
