My all time football hero.
at 16:35 16 Sep 2018

RIP. Kevin. You, sir were the greatest footballer I've ever seen in my life. With you in the team, I felt we were invincible. You were such a humble person too. I remember, during the SBR days, a few of us were at the players entrance, and you said "hey lads, come and see my new car" you proudly led us to your blue mk.2 Cortina, not in a brash way, but because you were rightly proud of what you had been able to buy yourself. My other ever lasting memory was sitting with you in the Gaumont watching the George Best / Rodney Marsh road show. You were the next legend to appear from out of their likes shadow, but still, in your humble way, sat with the lads. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you did for ITFC. There will never, ever ever be a better player to grace our shirt, and you will never be forgotten. Crying my eyes out writing this. God bless you. RIP.XX

Honeymoon period over.
at 17:47 15 Sep 2018

Early days, we've only played a few games etc etc..they were all fair comments, but now, after the international break, and the chance for the assembled bunch of strangers to bond, today was a seriously bad result, against a poor side. Football, as we know, is a results driven business, and you have to hit the ground running. The division will not wait for anyone, be it a relegated premiership side suffering back to back relegations, or a club, like us this season with a sudden influx of lower league players. The situation is very serious now, and only those looking at it through blue tinted glasses will see it any differently. Today, after the international break, was pivotal in my opinion. It doesn't bode well. I hope I'm proved wrong.

FFS!..No Tilt yet. Finished work and logged on to expect the long drawn out saga had reached a conclusion, but no, Evans is obviously reluctant to outlay a tiny proportion of the profit already made from selling the family jewels. PH has identified him as the CB we desperately need, and STILL it's not done. What hope have we got with this skinflint holding the purse strings. Pathetic! Evans out! Feel free to down arrow this TWTD snowflakes. WAKE UP AND REALISE THAT EVANS IS SLOWLY KILLING OUR CLUB.

surreal start.

Just really strange..a manager managing at his highest level, players in the same bracket, and opening fixtures of promoted teams, and Exeter in the cup!..whilst I obviously hope we win any game we play in, I think Villa at home will be a massive reality check for the majority involved, for me, the first 'this is the championship' wake up call.

Tilt.

Anyone think that Nsiala signing (obviously a Hurst type player) and Chambers being named as captain, may have influenced Tilts thinking in coming here? Although no-one is guaranteed a starting place, it must be human nature to look at where you envisage yourself in the pecking order?

Anyone else concerned?
at 11:58 22 Jul 2018

Firstly, I wish PH all the very best, going into his first season at his highest ever managerial level. However, I have a few concerns, Firstly, he told us how hard pre season would be, but has suggested that our players were not up to it...unlike his previous team. Secondly, we are a matter of days away from a very tough first game of the season, with half a team?..I sincerely hope he manages to keep us up this season, and then go for it next season, with no excuses. Patience is the key word this season, in my opinion. I hope i'm proved wrong. COYB!
