| News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday - Match Report at 00:17:32
ITFC were awful today - they played suicide football, passing the ball around their own area with nobody seeming to want to move forward. Odd occasions they did try to advance through midfield they were either cut out easily or simply gave the ball away. They were bloody terrible. Sheff Wed are a very average team at best, yet we made them look like Brazil - You can only forgive so much and this crock thoroughly deserve the drop. |

This has that horrible, familiar ring to it of selling off the family jewels ......I guarantee this will come back to bite us on the a-s |
| News Comment | Emmanuel Recalled From Shrews Loan at 17:33:19
Josh looked very good with Rotherham in their play off final against the shrews but there must be a reason he isnt winning a regular place in a L1 team+that hardly bodes well for the step back up to the championship. Just look at the difference Collins has made + its plain to see that Ip need a seasoned hard man at RB. |
| News Comment | Judge Deal Reportedly Close at 00:35:46
GOOD news this guy coming here. Now i would like to see a hard man to boss the midfield+prevent us getting bullied around like we did by Rotherham the other day. Think skuse but a foot taller and 3 stone heavier .... ? Ditto the same for a new RB. |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Defended Fantastically at 18:49:59
Collins was a G.I.A.N.T out there today. He read every ball perfectly, won every single challenge and never even looked liked losing one. That said the second half was painful to watch - but 3 points is what matters. We closed the gap and are now in with a genuine chance of staying up !! |
| News Comment | Lambert Sick and Tired of Blame Being Laid at Owner's Door at 20:58:09
Its all in "the timing". Evans has a habit of going awol at just the wrong time. Had he invested at the key moments when Ip were in with a real shot at going up, things might have been different. Had he sacked Magilton earlier - or not at all - same difference. Had Evans never hired Keane - or backed him when he really needed it, same yet again. Lambert or Jack Ross hired last summer and we would probably be top 6 by now. But it was not to be - Its just been a shambolic chemistry, LOUSY timing. In consequence, at age 60, i am for the first time in my entire lifetime looking at an ITFC train-wreck |
| News Comment | [Updated] Former Trialist Collins Linked With Blues Deal at 23:08:43
Spence makes way too many individual errors. He's cost us endless lost points and im sure PL was referring to him when he spoke of players being "simply not good enough". Collins looks a real piece of work, but age is catching up with him by way of injuries, so how about that guy from Blackpool who ME was too tight fisted to buy in the summer - or is it now out of the question to talk of actually BUYING players ? |
| News Comment | Leicester Youngster Elder Training With View to Loan as Dawkins on Trial at 15:13:16
My God almighty. What has this club come down to ? A mile adrift at the bottom and looking to sign league 1 rejects ? Penny pincher, ME is 100% to blame for this passing over Jack Ross & looking at Hurst as a "do it on the cheap" manager who "managed" only to wreck the club !!! If Evans has any shred of conscience remaining he will invest something like £20 in a SERIOUS effort to close the gap and give us a chance of survival.....but somehow i cant see him doing that ....... |
| News Comment | Lambert to Be Confirmed Town Boss in Next 48 Hours at 22:38:02
Lambert could easily be the BEST thing that ever happened to ITFC. He was absolutely brilliant at Norwich teaching a truly lousy + newly relegated team who just got thrashed 1-7 how to "play without fear" - something sadly lacking at ITFC. He also left Norwich under a cloud with little love lost between them. I can see him really putting his heart+soul into this job. Ip will win the next Derby and stay up - mark my words. |
| News Comment | Hurst Aiming to Surprise Doubters at Leeds at 15:30:09
Hurst is an abomination. A liability to all this great club once was. I for one have had enough of his suicidal strategies as well as the penny pinching self sabotage of Ebaneezer Evans. Surely it is time the fans took matters into their own hands and consider some kind of organized protest to remove both of them before they do any further harm ? |
| News Comment | Hurst Aiming to Surprise Doubters at Leeds at 00:50:33
Hurst is utterly clueless. Lost. Out of his depth - a total disaster. Please God he resigns and soon. I just hope it doesnt take some sort of soul destroying 8 - 0 thrashing to push him into making the right decision. |
| News Comment | Holland: Horrible Situation at Portman Road at 01:09:50
If Paul Hurst should resign - there is simply no other honourable course of action remaining. He has ruined us. I can only hope Evans awakes from his Scrooge like trance and takes serious action before the ghost of xmas future relegation comes rattling its chains. |
| News Comment | Hurst: Few Calls on Free Agents at 20:14:33
Ten games - 6 points - no wins = Hurst is an abject failure. Time for him to do the right thing and RESIGN !! |
| News Comment | Walters Out for Six Months at 00:00:23
This club is owned by a man who has £ signs where his eyes should be, so unlikely to replace even a manager so clearly out of his depth. Paul Hurst has lost this team he scrambled together and is no longer capable of inspiring confidence in them to win. Our only hope of avoiding relegation now is that Hurst fall on his sword and create space for a more experienced manager to step in before its too late. |
| News Comment | Hurst: Positive Conversation With Evans at 01:18:20
I never felt Mick McCarthy was the problem, but rather Evans miserly attitude, now we see Hurst getting a measure of the same penny pinching nonsense. Petty squabbles over a few quid here and there prevented ITFC from acquiring a much needed defender + thats a lot of the reason why we are sat rock bottom. If Hurst really does have a magic wand - as Evans clearly hoped - that he can wave over seriously under financed teams to push them up the table, then he needs to wave it soon. |
