Looks a great player, not what I expected when I clicked on a highlights reel for a Blackpool centre-back! Mixture of an old fashioned defender with his strength and tackling ability, but also a John Stones-style player who is fantastic on the ball with quick feet and sensible trickery in tight spaces. Excellent and I'd happily play him in the first team next year. £1 million would be absolutely fine but the cheaper the better

Stupid to judge him on one game. Shrewsbury have played almost a dozen extra games; that's over 1000 hours more of football! Personally I was once again impressed by their play yesterday and they held one of the best teams on paper with all the tiredness creeping in. My dad's friend lives in Scotland and has said it seems increasingly likely he will join Town. Also, can't see Hurst leaving Shrewsbury if they go up. Don't care how long it takes, just get a decent manager in and spell the start of a new era
