We have been linked with some very good strikers this transfer window. To avoid relegation, we need to sign a goal scorer, a top striker. Foster is not in that category. His goal scoring record is poor. Sounds like we have failed to land the main targets and this would very much be a panic buy. |

Difficult game. Certainly not happy with a 4-1 defeat but no surprise really. Expected.
Clearly need to strengthen at the back.The new keeper is a worry. But we need a top top goal scorer to avoid relegation. If the loan doesn’t happen we desperately need a striker who knows where the net is. |

Unfortunately Liverpool upped their game second half and would have been more than a match for most PL teams. Thought we were excellent in the first half.
Shame about the keepers injury. But defensively I thought we did okay with Greaves looking one hell of a signing. It’s fairly obvious, but we clearly need more fire power up top.

Lots of great stuff from the club over the past three years, barely put a foot wrong. This is an incredibly poor show though. Disappointing and disrespectful to the opposition and the fans who made the trip.
Clearly worrying in terms of preparation as well. KM was brutally honest last weekend and just the one signing this week - a back up player at that. The squad is thin and needs urgent additions. |
