Very much looking forward to next season , what are some aways to look forward to?
Top one to mention is Norwich but I doubt I’ll get a ticket
Others that would be achievable for me to get to that’ll be cool
QPR
Millwall
Portsmouth
Oxford
Wycombe (if they come up)
Potentially Bristol City doable
Charlton or Leyton Orient (if one of them come up)
Watford
Luton (if they stay up)
Which ones are others looking forward to ?

Played well today and got a good result , in a season that was always gonna end in relegation given what we are up against but proud of the team , the club, and the fans sticking with the players and backing McKenna - great to hear fans singing his name today . Our clubs loyalty to him in contrast to Chelsea’s lack of loyalty to their managers
I think McKenna will take us back up next season and keep us up when he gets another crack |

Agreed , should’ve started more after that game . Of course Davis is quality but I think Townsend has that grit needed for a relegation fight … Davis is better if we spend our time attacking |

Why not keep Harness? Scored a few for Derby this season , could be a good attacking option off the bench
Not sure it’s obvious Axel goes too?
Like everyone else is saying though Delap and Davis likely to go and possibly Omari
We’re strong at championship level in all position except for centre mid where we need 2 in I think
I’d keep Greaves and just have him cement the partnership with O’Shea and who knows they may be better if / when we return to prem having a season under their belt in the championship
Townsend for me is unlucky not to be starting more games at the moment , he impressed me at Villa and I think he should have started over Davis in a few of the recent games - I think he’s better defensively and has the grit for a relegation battle .
I think Philogene will still come good
Szmodics , Hirst , Broadhead, Chaplin , Omari , Burns will be 🔥 in the championship
Alex Palmer has to be number 1, and try to get a good fee for Muric maybe Leeds or Sheff Utd will have him 👌
Harry Clarke too will be good in championship

A lot of people giving plaudits to Amorim for that win tonight but he was just lucky that we were so bad , especially in the second half .
We conceded 3 soft goals , which most other teams in the league could prevent.
We again were toothless going forward , most other teams in the league other so much more in terms of cutting edge
He also was lucky that Maguire scored and we had no reply as the decision to take Garnacho off was shocking
United are still woeful , they were hustling lucky they came up against us , who most of all lack the belief in critical moments |

Not sure - I think those counties are different to Suffolk & Norfolk in that in the East Midlands you’ve got loads of clubs close together - sure you’ve got Leicester > Leicestershire, Derby > Derbyshire etc but there’s a chance of living in a county there and being closer to another club and having more affinity with that club perhaps ?
Side note Derby County is literally the club of the county ! |
