Lol, you're a miserable lot. They're both a part of our history, whether we like it or not. It was an interesting story at the time - might be fun to see it dramatised. Looks like a decent cast, so will at least give it a try. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: It's the Setbacks That Make You Stronger at 07:37:14
The EPL was a lot harder for us than I thought - I had confidence we'd probably survive, especially with McKenna staying and the amount of decent signings he made. What I didn't realise would be so hard - is seeing our beloved team losing so much, so easily and so emphatically at times. That was a lot harder than I imagined to take. We were almost good enough - those goddam 'fine margins' were real, but we know now how much better we need to be when/if we bounce back. |

 | News Comment | McKenna: A Really Poor Result For Us, a Game That Was There For Us to Win at 10:50:47
Entitlement of some of our fans is a bit hard to stomach sometimes. Nobody could ague that we are not a year or three in the EPL sooner than expected. It was never going to be easy, and if we are to survive, it's going to go down to the wire. I've still faith we will survive despite the odds looking a bit longer than we'd hoped. We could lose half a dozen more games between now and the end of the season and still survive. Until it's mathematically impossible, we should celebrate every point, every goal, stay positive and enjoy the journey no matter the outcome. Some of our fans may have given up already, but I'm certain KmK and our players have not. |

blues1 - you could very well be right. All I know is McKenna bought him as a prospect in the championship - good enough for me! I've seen one or two flashes of potential, and while it's true that the club have outgrown him currently, does not mean he can't eventually catch up. A handful of goals at WBA in the Championship will put him back on track imo. |
