 | News Comment | McKenna: Challenge Too Big With Ten Men at 02:36:33
@Leejames99 "Just woke nonsense"... You know that says more about you than anything you point you could be trying to make, right? We suspected you're an idiot, and now we know for sure. You're just here to wind people up on the day we're relegated... but it makes sense that'd you'd use brain dead language like that. |

@Leejames99 I'm sure you often make valid points, but I usually skip past, because they drip with contempt for a team you supposedly support. I didn't see any lack of effort from our owners, management or our team this season - that's good enough for me. So while it's ok to discuss what went wrong or what we need to do better, it just seems all too juvenile to continually do it with insults and a lack of respect for progress made and it makes you come across as someone seeking attention, just for the sake of it. Try being less unlikable in you contribution, is what I mean. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: It's the Setbacks That Make You Stronger at 07:37:14
The EPL was a lot harder for us than I thought - I had confidence we'd probably survive, especially with McKenna staying and the amount of decent signings he made. What I didn't realise would be so hard - is seeing our beloved team losing so much, so easily and so emphatically at times. That was a lot harder than I imagined to take. We were almost good enough - those goddam 'fine margins' were real, but we know now how much better we need to be when/if we bounce back. |

It's 2025... Imagine being so brain dead that you can type in a football forum: "Absolute woke nonsense" Weirdos... |
 | News Comment | McKenna: A Really Poor Result For Us, a Game That Was There For Us to Win at 10:50:47
Entitlement of some of our fans is a bit hard to stomach sometimes. Nobody could ague that we are not a year or three in the EPL sooner than expected. It was never going to be easy, and if we are to survive, it's going to go down to the wire. I've still faith we will survive despite the odds looking a bit longer than we'd hoped. We could lose half a dozen more games between now and the end of the season and still survive. Until it's mathematically impossible, we should celebrate every point, every goal, stay positive and enjoy the journey no matter the outcome. Some of our fans may have given up already, but I'm certain KmK and our players have not. |

blues1 - you could very well be right. All I know is McKenna bought him as a prospect in the championship - good enough for me! I've seen one or two flashes of potential, and while it's true that the club have outgrown him currently, does not mean he can't eventually catch up. A handful of goals at WBA in the Championship will put him back on track imo. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Philogene Really Keen to Come to Town at 14:38:33
"player's representatives have to get the best deal" I'm sure that's right, but would be nice if it could be done in a way that doesn't tarnish the player's reputation. |
 | News Comment | Emery: Malen Deal Awaiting Philogene Completion at 15:05:27
We don't know what the problem is/was, but I suspect an inexperienced agent trying to make a name for himself, unaware he's actually damaging the name of his client instead. |
