Least we know we can trust Ainsley now. Very handy to have on the bench the kid can play anywhere it looks like!

Ainsley Back at Town
at 12:52:30

shows how much you lot know about footbal...

DAVID Livermore believes teenage loanee Jack Ainsley has a bright future in the game.

Ipswich youngster Ainsley was due to play his last game for the Stutes on Saturday, but the club's game at Altrincham was postponed due a frozen pitch at Moss Lane.

He will now return to the Tractor Boys when his loan expires on Wednesday, but Livermore said: “The finger was pointed at Jack after his debut [at Luton] when he made a couple of mistakes, but he's kept his head up and I think that shows what a good young player he is.

“We all make mistakes, but it's how we learn from them that matters, and his attitude has been spot on and that will only bode well for him in his future career.

“I think his time here has been a steep learning curve for him, because it's been different to the kind of football he's played at youth and reserve level. But I don't doubt he will go on to have a good career.”

Wright Linked With Palace Switch
at 16:48:02

Mark i totally agree only natural right back is Jack Ainsley and Jamie Peters can cover that area, not sure if hes thinks Ainsley can push on to the first team this season as Shane O'Connor did but I would of thought a right back is needed asap before the season starts
