While i hope its more than just words, its easy for him to say this at the minute as there are no offers on the table. I refuse to take the statement as anything other than just words and the reason for that is i dont think my heart could take it if he leaves this summer after fully buying into what he said.

Was this around the time of McKenna to palace was going around? He talked about the history, the pitch etc like he had been given a sales pitch before, could be he was lined up to replace.
The way he set up his team was totally different to what he had been doing, almost like it was an audition but they were rubbish and we were great. |

The dreaming and patting on the back after cov has got to stop now I think and re focusing the mindset to getting job done. No point in this league has been easy this year bar maybe sheff wed at home. We need to get ready to support the team for what im sure will be a twist somewhere Saturday (it's been that sort of season) let's raise the roof and make PR as loud as it's ever been, no frustrated moans if it's not going our way, just ultimate support!!! (Yes I'm nervous as hell with all the it's done narrative in alot of quarters, causing me panic) |

firstly i dont think he will go, think Leicester will want a more of a name.but should it i happen who would people want?
i would try and go for Schumacher. interesting to see if the project could attract someone like a potter or marsch (i think his leeds were quite an entertaining watch) who you would think are definitely out of reach. |

Tonight think of all the lows and heartbreak over the last 15 to 20 years, let it fuel you to not stop you singing/making noise for a single minute where ever you are sat in the ground. I think on Tuesday night we saw the power us fans can have to drag the players through, that blue army in the chant i like to think changed the momentum of the game in a stage we were under the cosh.
However it pans out tomorrow we have to be behind them no matter what, moments and teams like this don't come around often for us town fans. (granted not at the level we should be but are deservedly)
Please let this be our time no false dawns!!! |

i think a real good creative no 10 will be the icing on the cake in January, our current no10's are finishers i dont see them as good creators.
whos out there who fits the mold? the one off the top of my head would be brannigan from oxford but not sure how realistic that would be, anis mehmeti at wycombe also has abit of off the cuff magic in him who could be an option. [Post edited 3 Nov 2022 7:27]
