While i hope its more than just words, its easy for him to say this at the minute as there are no offers on the table. I refuse to take the statement as anything other than just words and the reason for that is i dont think my heart could take it if he leaves this summer after fully buying into what he said.

It going to be a depressing couple of months if this is the start of it, bring on pre season where i have every faith we have a plan and are ready to act on it, just got to be a damage limitation for a couple of months. [Post edited 10 Apr 8:13]

Was this around the time of McKenna to palace was going around? He talked about the history, the pitch etc like he had been given a sales pitch before, could be he was lined up to replace.
The way he set up his team was totally different to what he had been doing, almost like it was an audition but they were rubbish and we were great. |
