| News Comment | McCarthy Confirms Goteni Signing at 18:26:52
Typical whinging bunch of moaner, we sign a young player from abroad and all there is on here is negativity, where as if we had signed a 30 year old player from the championship everyone would be moaning that we never shop abroad anymore and he is too old, ffs cheer up! |
| News Comment | Woody Could Play Jonny's Role at 09:06:58
Taylor is a dirty little chav who would rather have a punch up in a pub than put some effort in. Yes he has quality but he is too lazy to realise his potential and will be one of hundred of talented footballers that slide down the leagues after showing such promise. The fact is, if he trained hard enough showed he wanted a place in the team and was willing to be a team player he would be in the team every week. And one last thing, when he went out on loan to peterborough he hardly set the world alight now did he. |
| News Comment | McGoldrick Out for 10 Weeks at 13:24:31
And the wait for a 20 goal season from a striker continues. I say Bring Marriot back we have nothing to lose. I personally thought the play offs would be a massive ask with McGoldrick and though it is nice to be flirting with the top 6 I have always believed next season would be our best chance. We have come an incredibly long way since Mick Took charge and if we carry on improving at this rate we will be top 6 material next season. We have been punching above out weight this season, I tipped Wigan to be the late team that gatecrashes the Play offs and I stand by that choice. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Deal in Progress But No Signing Before Barnsley at 19:45:22
Please not Garvan, too much of a liability with his dodgy knees, has no pace and going back to a previous club very rarely works, I would prefer to see Jon Williams from Palace tbh someone with pace would be a plus. |
| News Comment | Tottenham Eyeing Cresswell at 10:42:26
He won't go in this window possibly in the summer and only if we get a £5million plus offer Mings is a capable replacement but we would definitely miss his set piece abilities, he is definitely our best player reminds me of a young Jamie Clapham who ironically we bought from Tottenham, can't see him going to Everton as Baines is signing a new deal so he would more than likely be cover for Baines, IF he goes I see him going to someone like Stoke, Southampton, WBA or Fulham maybe. |
| News Comment | Woody Working Doubly Hard to Get Fit at 18:36:41
Get rid of him he is is lazy never fit and not gonna help take us forward, we should of realised our mistake when we bought him and almost all Colchester fans were happy to see him leave because of his laziness. Sell him if we can get a fee for him or use him in a swop deal. He is bottom half championship club quality at best and not what we need if we have ambitions to be top half/top 6. |
| News Comment | Blues Linked With Baird at 11:07:54
Offer a trial when fit maybe, good cover for the defence when fit he is a good player at this level. As for Bramble I would like to see him on a pay as you play deal, plenty of experience at premiership level, if you leave his off the field problems aside he is a very good defender. |
| News Comment | Blues Much-Changed at Preston at 19:19:20
Floridaboy, you can't call yourself a fan if you don't care if we win or lose. A real fan wants their team to win every game no matter what the situation. COYB! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Defensive Addition Could Be Loanee at 09:29:19
Not a defender but maybe we should try get Aaron Mcclean back on loan he is out of favour at hull other than cup games and got 2 goals in the FA Cup for them, good back up for Murphy at the very least. Defender wise, If it is just back up we are after then why not offer Bramble a pay as you play deal til end of the season, plenty of experience and he is local and training with the squad anyway so would have little if any trouble gelling with the players. |
| News Comment | Town Closing In On Ebanks-Blake Deal at 14:15:49
I personally would welcome someonr with his experience at this level into our squad and with MM & TC He will know whats expected of him. I also think with the squad available at present a 3-5-2 formation would suit us quite well. Gerken Chambers/berra/smith Edwards. Cresswell Hyam Tunnicliffe. Skuse Murphy Mcgoldrick |
