MK Dons 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 09:41:09

First half, I thought we moved the ball around very well. I'd love to see the possession stat on that! Second half was frustrating, all the flow of the first half vanished and we allowed MK to back into the game. I think we lacked something in the final 3rd of the pitch in both halves...

Still a wins a win and the support/atmosphere in our end was phenomenal as usual!

I’m Really Glad Our Season Isn’t Ending This Weekend - Notes for Middlesbrough

Thanks Harry, I fully enjoy reading your reports as it's hard to keep up with everything that's going on in the Championship these days.

Have a great summer, look forward to your first report in August!

Hurst ticks all the boxes for me.

I guess we'll have to wait and see how Shrewsbury get on in the playoffs...

McCarthy Hints at Early Town Exit
at 12:00:48

If MM is off to West Brom, I seriously hope that Pardew isn't coming our way!!

Still has to be the Cowley Bros for me, I think they've got what it takes to breathe a much needed new air of life into the club, and the sooner they arrive, the better.

Town Confirm McCarthy and Connor to Leave at End of Season
at 13:22:56

This is definitely the correct decision. Thank you for your efforts Mick and best of luck for the future.

I hope ME has been on the phone to Lincoln to ask how much they want for the Cowley Brothers. It would be good to see a younger manager given a go at this level and the Cowley's get my vote all day long.

Milne: Stay With Mick
at 11:39:55

Anyone else get the feeling that the club is being run in a similar style to North Korea...?

It seems to me that we are being fed a load of MM propaganda by the board and we're expected to go with it or swallow it.

I've had enough. I will not be attending another game under that man has gone. Last night was the worse Town performance I've ever witnessed (and I've seen some bad ones before!)

Please, whilst you still have some dignity, do us all and yourself a favour and resign Mick.

This Task Is Starting To Look Monumental — Notes for Rotherham
at 13:08:47

We should be battering this lot in normal circumstances.

However, we're stuck with Mr Negative, they have a new manager and the players will want to prove a point that they deserve to be in the first team...

So with all that considered, I can see another 0-0 thrill fest on the horizon.

We’re a Team That Works Together - Notes for Burton
at 14:12:04

I saw Burton play against my old local club Woking back in 2005/06. Amazing to see how rapidly they've climbed up the leagues since then. Never though they would be playing Town in the league but fair play to them for getting here!

As far as the game goes, it does look like another stalemate. I made a few bob from Saturday's game being 0-0 as predicted. Double or nothing on this game...?

We Are Sleepwalking Into Oblivion - Notes for Blackburn
at 10:43:22

Great read as ever, thanks Harry.

Interesting thoughts from the Blackburn fans regarding MM. Kept us up, yes. turned the team around from when he arrived, yes. But overachieved? I don't think so.

This game is got 0-0 written all over it, I'm thinking of wondering down to the bookies with the keys to my house for this one...

Knudsen: We Need to Stick Together
at 13:26:19

If McCarthy does do the decent thing and walk, who would people want in as a replacement realistically?

I think we can safely rule out Steve Bruce...

My vote would be on trying to pinch Graham Alexander off of Scunthorpe. They are playing some good stuff at the moment, I think he could be the man to rejuvenate Portman Road.

McCarthy: Best Can Be the Focal Point of Our Attack
at 14:45:37

Whilst I find it very hard these days to defend MM (poor away performances, boring style of football to name a couple of things), I will never ever want the team to lose for the sake of changing a manager.

Sadly, MM isn't going anywhere for the time being, we all know that. So we have to get behind the team and give them our full support.

Not sure what it'll take to get him out though...

Bring On the Anglian Boys! - Notes for Brentford
at 14:16:06

Great read as ever Harry, thanks.

I've just shown your piece to a Brentford supporting friend of mine and he is highly impressed at the detail of the information which you have used. He went as far to say that it was the best evaluation of his beloved Bees that he has ever read.

You are a credit to us sir, never stop doing what you do!

McCarthy and Connor Extend Town Contracts
at 13:22:57

I think some people are quick to forget the dross that we had to put up with under both Keane and Jewell. Mick's football might not be the prettiest to watch but he and TC kept us up in the 2012/13 season when we would have probably been relegated under anyone else. We might have bounced right back up or we might have been another Leeds / Sheffield United who struggled to return...

I for one am very pleased they've extended their contracts, I believe that they will take us up.

I’m Looking Forward to Life Under Jim - Notes for QPR
at 10:45:14

Cracking read as ever Harry, good work.

I'm a little bit dubious with this game. Whilst we've been great away lately, our home form has been a bit of a concern and with QPR resurgent under Jimmy, I think this game will be a lot harder than we all think. I'm hoping that they won't be able to do anything with their high energy game, and on around 70 mins when they're exhausted, we'll go for the throat and get a much needed home win to lift PR.

Merry Christmas to all fellow Tractorboys & girls around the world, have a wonderful day and lets hope we all get the same present.... 3 POINTS ON BOXING DAY!!! COYB!!!

It’s Always Tough in Tractor Country - Notes for Derby
at 11:37:43

Fantastic work as always Harry.

I think the Derby fans were brought back down to earth with an almighty thud after their fall from grace towards the end of last season. It looks like they've got themselves sorted out now but I'm hoping we can turn a corner with our home form and start getting a few wins instead of draws!

I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 win, Murph is due a goal and Sears (who was a real handful against Fulham) to stick the other one in the onion bag.

3 points just before Christmas would be the perfect present leading into the busy period!

Fulham 1-2 Town - Match Report
at 13:25:39

I was at the game last night, it was the first Town game I've managed to get to (due to work and house commitments) and I thought we played really well against a Fulham team who were very poor.

My only slight concern (and it is very slight) is that nearly every time when Knudsen had the ball in our half, he kept lumping it forward. I lost count of the times he gave away possession. if he stopped and looked for a shorter pass into the midfield or switched the play to the other side of the pitch, it would benefit the whole team.

I will be at the Famous 3 Kings which looks like where most of the rest of our London fan base will be. It has a decent set up for sports, I've been there a few times to watch ice hockey.

So excited and nervous about tomorrow! I will be wearing my blue shirt proudly.

Winning Debut for Crowe
at 13:51:05

I was at the game last night too. Very impressive debut in my opinion. If I was being a bit critical (I used to be a goalkeeper), I would say that his positioning was slightly out for the first Torquay goal and a few of his kicks out of his hands all seemed to bend to the right plus one or two went out for a Torquay. I'll put that down to nerves.

Other than that, a great debut and after a few more confidence building games with Woking in good form, I'm sure he will turn out to be a fantastic option for Town in years to come.
