For the first time in a long time, I'm truly excited for the Superbowl
at 08:19 4 Feb 2017

At least one of the teams I support are doing well this year for once. I can't wait to see the Falcons wipe the smug smile off the Patriots fans tomorrow night. It's probably the least Matt Ryan and his team deserve.
A Town win and a Falcons win would make a good weekend. And would probably be nice odds in a double!

Following on from the recurring dreams thread... Sleep paralysis
at 17:28 9 Sep 2016

Has anyone ever experienced this? I have, twice. Once when I moved home from university, and once before a close family member's funeral. It was genuinely terrifying, being in a semi awake state and seeing a shadowlike figure, whilst being unable to move. It's not a nice feeling!

I'm going to watch Germany vs Poland at stade de France on Thursday, and I was wondering if there's anywhere I can find out if I'm with the German or Polish fans?

Shameless plug
at 16:04 2 Jun 2016

Hi Guys,

This is a bit of shameless plug, but this year, me and my colleagues are raising money for MIND, by undertaking a number of physical challenges (with more to come than just on this JustGiving page) which will culminate with a 160 mile cycle from our nottingham office to our ipswich one, in December...
Any support for this charity would be greatly appreciated!

Replica shirts
at 22:50 28 May 2016

How come it's fine for thousands and thousands of fans of European teams to wear replica shirts of their clubs to matches, yet, for some, if one of our fans has a replica itfc shirt they wear once a week for football, they're sad?

I wonder if their fans are bemoaning their first team playing on Tuesday...
I am sure if we had put our first team out, and lost today, there would be a blubfest right now (not that there isn't anyways)

A history of Ipswich Town during the war
at 13:37 4 Nov 2015

Hi everyone

I have been in contact with a lecturer at UEA the past year, who specialises in football history, and is a big Ipswich fan.

He has finished writing an article for a journal about sort in history, focussing on ITFC during the war, and asked me to post it on relevant forums etc.

For those of you who may be interested, here is the link to the article (it's about 30 pages long, so you may need a bit of time to read it!)
