He was assistant coach for a bit and it's not like anyone gives a flying proverbial about the barbarians anymore over the border is it? A little over the top I feel. |
 | News Comment | Town Target Sunderland Keeper at 11:34:26
naa: I don't agree with the view that we don't need another keeper. The possibility of two keepers being injured at the same time isn't as low as some might think and having three in the squad builds in a bit of a safety buffer. I will agree with your point that it could be a youth keeper though, we shouldn't be shelling out on someone who could well be 3rd choice all season. |

Spot on - he had a mare of a start to the season but came back strong and forged what I think is a fantastic partnership with Delaney, one of the v v few highlights of the season. |
 | News Comment | Keane: Parachute Extension Will Make Life Tougher at 14:45:04
These_arent_the_days - I get tired of this "Woe is me! I say something negative about Roy Keane and I get slated!" crap. I've seen plenty of people (including myself) get as equally slated for daring to point out a positive. It goes both ways. |
 | News Comment | Keane: Parachute Extension Will Make Life Tougher at 13:21:21
Surco - I'm saying yawn because simply every time Keane opens his mouth on anything you lot start criticising. Unless of course you actually agree with these ridculous parachute payments? ;) |
 | News Comment | Mariner Apologises to Keane at 20:15:46
Probably shouldn't have but reading the whole interview he was making a comment in general and used Tuesday as an example. Not a smart move but blown out proportion by the local rags...they seem to be good at doing that. |
 | News Comment | Keane Considering Deadline Move at 13:40:21
Lightningboy - Yawn. Anti-Keaners are just as guilty of doing that when someone dares to say something positive about Roy. |
 | News Comment | Stead in Team of the Week at 15:34:46
Stead = 6 goals in 22 league appearances D.Murphy = 5 goals in 8 appearances So if Murphy bangs one in against Scunny this weekend he'll have matched Stead's total in less than half the amount of appearances. If not then he'll still have another 12 appearances to bang one in before his goal to game ratio is equal to or worse than Stead's. Simples. |
 | News Comment | Keane: We\'ve Given Murphy a New Lease of Life at 00:00:18
V good strike rate from Murphy. If he grabs one on Saturday he'll have equalled Stead's total in less than half the amount of games. Anyone still complaining we've loaned Stead out? |
 | News Comment | Wright Undergoes Scan at 12:43:56
I will admit I was surprised when he wasn't playing but that was because I'd been thinking this injury had cleared up. Makes a lot more sense now why he's been in and out of the squad. |
