naa: I don't agree with the view that we don't need another keeper. The possibility of two keepers being injured at the same time isn't as low as some might think and having three in the squad builds in a bit of a safety buffer. I will agree with your point that it could be a youth keeper though, we shouldn't be shelling out on someone who could well be 3rd choice all season. |

D.Murphy = 5 goals in 8 appearances
So if Murphy bangs one in against Scunny this weekend he'll have matched Stead's total in less than half the amount of appearances. If not then he'll still have another 12 appearances to bang one in before his goal to game ratio is equal to or worse than Stead's.

I will admit I was surprised when he wasn't playing but that was because I'd been thinking this injury had cleared up. Makes a lot more sense now why he's been in and out of the squad. |
