 | Forum Reply | How much will Woolfie go for? at 11:21 22 Aug 2025
I looked at how much we paid for O’Shea last summer as an newly promoted EPL club. A regular Irish international and plenty of premier league experience - the fee was £12 million - so personally I think we would do pretty well to get as much as 8-10 from another Championship club but hope I’m wrong of course. |

Of course it will be very sad to see Woolfie leave (if indeed he does end up going) but what will the fee be? My guess would be around 5-6 million even if that includes top-ups. What are everyone’s thoughts - higher or lower? [Post edited 22 Aug 10:51]

Not been verified by a reliable source, but apparently pepperoni may have been involved. However it is understood that reports of pineapple being linked are wide of the mark. |

No I have it on good authority that it’s Fergal. He has a good heart too apparantly… [Post edited 14 Aug 14:35]

Thanks for the clarification. In that case I still can’t see us having more than 5. |

With my calculations, the new Spanish striker means we will have 4 loan players in our squad. So am I correct that we only have space for one more? As apparently the maximum is 5 loans in the squad in the Championship. So if that’s right, who’s the final loan going to be? If/when Hutchinson goes, my money is on a young premier league right winger in the mould of Omari when he first joined us. What do you reckon? |
 | Forum Reply | Who is our deputy penalty taker? at 09:26 9 Aug 2025
Oh I didn’t know that, that’s good to know. Although I think he was aslo off the pitch when the penalty was given so just as well Hirst hadn’t been subbed then! |
 | Forum Thread | Championship table question at 09:24 9 Aug 2025
I know it is not meaningful yet but just wondering the reason why we are above Birmingham in yhe table when we both have identical records and B comes before I (well always used to anyway!) in the alphabet? |
 | Forum Reply | Unhappy Brum fans at 09:14 9 Aug 2025
Not so sure it would have. Remember Chappers being assaulted last season against Leicester in the penalty area and VAR didn’t even look at it. Apparantly… |
 | Forum Thread | Who is our deputy penalty taker? at 09:12 9 Aug 2025
I for one am so relieved that McK left Hirst on the pitch so he was available to take the penalty in injury time, which as we know is highly unusual due to him having a preference with swapping forwards after 70 minutes or so. I don’t know about anyone else but I wouldn’t have had as much confidence with the alternative candidates still on the pitch at that time. Aside from Delap, it seems that our penalty success is pretty mediocre at best in recent times. So it got me wondering who would be considered our back up penalty taker in our current squad? Safly, Chappers and AAH both have poor to mediocre records, whilst Broady is better but unfortunately he will likely be off soon. Who else has been added to our squad that has a decent record from the spot for other teams? Anyone know? |
 | Forum Reply | Brum out of the race now at 11:21 6 Aug 2025
Yes I am assured that he is now out of nappies and can use the toilet independently. Although it is unclear at this juncture whether he needs to utilise the little boys or the big boys urinal. More updates pending. |

That’s a great breakdown. Thanks Bondi. Just to add another option to the mix for everyone (not just in Australia, as the principle works the same no matter which country you live in) check put this article for accessing Paramount+ US content that unless I am mistaken, streams every Championship game this season. It may be a little tricky to set up initially but the steps in the article are really clear. This way, you don’t need to mess a out with different subscription providers and just stick with Paramount+. Hope people find it helpful. https://cordcutters.com.au/vod/us-paramount-plus-in-australia/ |

Unless I am misunderstanding your point, what Bondi’s is saying is correct. So you just buy your match pass at £10 the majority of times that you are available to stay up to watch the match live. Then when you have something on the next day so unable to watch live, you buy the monthly subscription for £5.99 so you can watch the replay the next day. The point being that you will not be paying more money. Quite the contrary, you will actually be saving £4.00 per match (for matches you can’t watch live). To clarify, you will not need to buy a subscription in any month that you know you will be able to watch all available matches live (which you have said is your preference). I am also in Australia and probably plan to do exactly what I have just described. Again, apologies if I have misunderstood your post and only trying to help a fellow ex pat! [Post edited 5 Aug 6:49]
