| News Comment | Holland Interviews McKenna and Ashton at 09:27:20
Win lose or draw the club now has outstanding owners and outstanding management and staff, all of whom are passionate about the club. In the short time they have been in charge they have totally transformed the atmosphere in and around the Portman Road. We are attracting players who would have overlooked us in the past and the owners have shown they are prepared to to invest heavily in that. Building the infrastructure of the club for the long term is the most important thing after the way it was allowed to deteriorate in more recent years. I've been a Town fan since the late 60's and this is the most positive I've felt in a long long time. It's only a matter of time before we get there and we'll be in a great position when we do. |
| News Comment | Cook: There's a Sloppiness That Comes Into the Team at 19:38:58
We are still making some basic errors, but things are definitely improving and the football we are playing is far better than it has been for years! We look like a footballing side and I for one am in no doubt we'll go from strength to strength. Queue the moaners putting me in my place :) |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Burns Signing at 20:18:12
Looks like a real quality player! All credit to Mark Ashton - couple of days in the job and first signing done. Been a fan for 55 years and the most excited I've been in a long time. Can't wait for the new season! |
| News Comment | Video: O'Leary and Johnson Press Conference at 10:09:31
Have to say I'm suitably impressed with both Mr.Johnson and Mr.O'Leary! Regardless of what happens this season I'm excited to see what goes on in the summer! |
| News Comment | Town Expected to Be Bristol Rovers Striker Harrison's Championship Destination at 14:49:33
I think it's being so positive that keeps crazyblue going! Strikers from lower leagues - Paul Mariner, Plymouth Argyle, Marcus Stewart, Huddersfield. Defenders - Aaron Creswell, Tranmere, Tyrone Mings, don't even know where he came from. Every signing is a risk, but there's a lot of very good players in the lower leagues. I think whoever we have to manage the club and whoever we sign, crazyblue will find something to moan about! |
| News Comment | McCarthy Leaves Town With Immediate Effect - Updated With Audio at 22:31:24
I appreciate he wasn't for everyone, but i don't doubt for a second that he only ever wanted what was best for the club. It just amazes me that some people still have to have a dig and can't even bring themselves to wish the bloke the best for the future. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Issues Apology for Language at 14:56:09
Considering the amount of abuse he gets from a minority of the supporters i don't blame him for telling them to f**k off. Too many people who talk a good job in the stands. |

Mickzzztactics so much sh*t is such a small space! Muppet - tut tut. Can't blame him being foul mouthed, he's got tw*ts like you to endure. Plenty of people talking a good job and obviously that includes you. Stay at home and do us all a favour! |
| News Comment | Garner Move Set to Be Completed This Week at 20:51:19
Never in the field of football have so many moaned so much about so little. So much negativity! If we've made no decent signings by the time the season starts then have a moan. MM is going to be here this season so why not break the habit of a lifetime and get behind him. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Has No Intention of Walking Away and Plans to Build Again at Town at 19:26:36
The people who ruined this club came well before MM and ME. If I were ME I'd say bo**ocks to you, bail your own club out and have that hefty debt back while you're at it. Yes he could probably invest more in the club ,and after this season I wouldn't be at all surprised if he does, but I for one am not going to knock the bloke for investing so much of his own money. As for MM I still think he's done a really good job in the circumstances. Some of the players that have come in seem to have potential and he's changed the style of football, all be it that that's work in progress. We could stay away from the ground for the rest of this season and next, or we could do our bit and get behind them instead of trying to drag them down further. Nobody wants to waste their money but I'm pretty sure that includes ME. Given the backing, MM is more than capable of getting the club back on track. |
