So many posts tonight, all giving us the benefit of their wonderful hindsight. For 7 minutes today we were miles off it but for the other 83 minutes we were equal to everything. Just accept the fact that we're close but not close enough.
We tried our best but it wasn't good enough and Philogene isn't half as bad as you think he his!
I normally dwell on a defeat but that one won't stay with me for long. I'm already thinking about Southampton! I do hope the crowd can turn up next weekend, I think the atmosphere's been quite poor for some of our more winnable games and the nervousness has hasn't helped things on the pitch. We need to put any negative thoughts to one side for 90 mins and get the energy levels up a bit.
The atmosphere last season was good for the whole game from what I remember and we all know what happened.
The atmosphere turns toxic more and more quickly after each throw of the dice. We'll literally be changing Manager every 6 months at this rate. If that's what people want then I suppose one day we'll eventually spin the managerial wheel and hit the jackpot!
