That's not true at all. There's been plenty of singing throughout especially at away games. I think rational fans realise that it's just as important to back your team when the chips are down but the effort is there. Without the fan's backing I don't think players would have same desire to keep going and I could seriously see one of those top teams putting 9 goals past us again.
Yes he took the bait of the leg dangled out and went down on contact like he's entitled to. Every time that happens to us its a free kick to the opponent.
I remember the days when the highlight of our season was watching Norwich get relegated from the Prem, even though it was only a small crumb of comfort as we knew our club was going nowhere fast. I know where I'd rather be.
I think Wolves are obviously in a purple patch at the moment. They weren't under par at all but we still managed to take the lead, unfortunately they had to much quality in the end.
It's difficult to say though. Everyone (unsurprisingly) focuses on Muric's errors but what about his dominance in the air at set pieces and other attributes that possibly prevented more goals being conceded?
Perhaps Muric was part of the reason we came so much closer in some of those those early games. I'm not saying it was wrong to drop him and confidence was clearly shaken but It's a very exposed position. I still can't agree with people saying he's the worst signing in the clubs history and I hope he proves people wrong.
So many posts tonight, all giving us the benefit of their wonderful hindsight. For 7 minutes today we were miles off it but for the other 83 minutes we were equal to everything. Just accept the fact that we're close but not close enough.
We tried our best but it wasn't good enough and Philogene isn't half as bad as you think he his!
I don't t think it's at all fair to say we're falling in a business sense. I don't believe we'll be saddled with an unmanageable wage bill if we go down. We've obviously increased the wage bill but surely it's still tiny by premier league standards? People look at the headline transfer fees but ignore the spend on wages, which is where you can really do yourself harm. It's way too early to say the model isn't working for us, you could actually say we've been very sensible but only time will tell.
Whatever that article says we've still spent less on our squad than every other team in the league and Wolves squad cost well over double what ours did. No, it's not been the great season we hoped it would be and we seem to be getting less competitive as the season goes on but it's no surprise we are where we are. The season isn't a failure, it's just reaching a logical conclusion.
