I can agree with one point that MM has made - "the team is lacking confidence". Anyone involved in any sport will know that confidence is a major factor in success.
This a chance to build up that confidence. It does need however 1. The manager to pick the correct team (that point is down to him) 2. The players must believe in themselves and AND each other. 3. The travelling support must play their part.
Lets hope for a win as it might change the season but on the otherhand ........
I can identify with the points made. I still support ITFC but my attendance has dwindled over the past years. Thinking about it I believe it is because I have fallen out of love with football. It starts at the very top with the leadership(?) of FIFA culminating with the very sterile displays of our national team and the poppy armband fiasco. The word "soulless" in the blog sums up my own feelings to a tee.
Tend to agree with StowtractorBoy although I believe Hyam is suspended not injured. Williams will replace his energy but much will depend upon MM's assessment of fitness levels.
My first visit to Portman Road this season. Was impressed and entertained. Good display by the whole team. I can see why Neil Warnock offered a large sum for Tyrone Mings and also why Mick rejected it.
totally agree with bluefeast. Confidence is an important part of any players game and booing them will destroy it. I have seen it before over the years. If you want our players to perform support them for goodness sake.
