Think that was the debut for Jon Hallworth too.

Something just doesn't look right to me. Apart from the obvious that Radio Orwell didn't sponsor us until 1985 (I think), the 2 pictures of the shirt look different. The cuffs aren't the same, and the adidas logo looks much smaller compared to the home and away kits that season, even the pin stripes are not in the same places as the other 2 kits. I would stay away from it.

Think that's because filming starts at midday and AB is usually too bladdered by then to remember his own name.

Has to be Leo Muff, a true Town legend.

Third kit tomorrow night? 👀
at 19:54 19 Oct 2023

Unless it's an error on their site and they will be wearing red socks as usual. If there is a new third kit it's a shame it wasn't on sale before the first time it's worn.

Not sure about this. Rotherham wear red socks not white. Would they change socks to match ours? Sounds a bit iffy to me.

Not sure what the 68 fans to Portman Road has to do with it to be honest. Are you saying the more fans one team has means they are going to win?

Your knowledge of cheeses is impressive. Thanks to Google for enlightening me with information regarding the best cheese from Snowdonia!
I agree with you about the cups....to a point. I would love a visit to Wembley for any final, especially as my last visit to the Wembley mecca was for a Backstreet Boys concert in about 2000. Oh I do love Nick Carter. Sadly clubs don't share the view of a possible Wembley visit in the same way anymore. I am sure like me, you can remember most of the FA Cup finals from your younger years, with scores, scorers and which team bus Tony Gubba was one. Sadly not anymore. I honestly couldn't tell you who was even in last years final, and I stand by my claim of my difficult bowel movement being more inportant. I hope you can forgive me for that. However, a trip to Wembley in the Play Offs , if needed, and a victory, would no doubt improve my mood. I might even buy you a celebration beer and cheese burger at half time if I see you. You may have to lower your usual standard of cheese and accept a basic piece of processed plastic, as I don't think Wembley is ready for your flamboyant tastes. I remain as always.

It's a very interesting question. Not making the top 6 would surely be seen as a total failure, but what would failure in the play offs be seen as? Whatever the owners think come the end of the season, it's either going to be happy days or a very sticky time for those involved.

Sorry Swansea_Blue, I think my joke may has been misinterpreted by yourself. Apologisies for that...
Initially my joke about needing a toilet visit was to show my lack of enthusiasm for an FA Cup replay game was met with the accusation of being a budgie, which is quite funny considering I have been an ITFC fan since my first game in 1976. So my reply to you was truly in jest, however, maybe that didn't come across and for that I apoligise.

More importantly, and to answer your question, I do like a Catherdral Cheddar. Ok, so it's boring and pretty plain, but it is quite a lovely texture and is a lovely shade of yellow, which is quite a coindence as I useallu eat it while wearing my favourite football strip......apparently.

So how about you? What is your favourite cheese? And where to you stand on the constant issue of whether a Jaffa cake is a cake or a biscuit? :-)

Based on what? Because I dare criticise the importance of an FA Cup game? But hey, let's just say I am a budgie, that is obviously the case. Prick.

Why's that? Because I don't care about an FA Cup game? Or because I have recently watched an Ipswich team that can't beat a team in the bottom 3 when we are meant to be pushing for promotion, yet failing when matters? Feel free to message me direct and explain.

When...
at 18:30 5 Feb 2023

Agreed. I would suggest we just have a pot shot the same day we stop playing the ball out from the back by playing across the back line a dozen times, pass it back to Walton ,who then just hoofs it up to 4ft 2in Chaplin and we lose the ball.
Can you tell I am disillusioned with it all???

Could history repeat itself
at 18:07 5 Feb 2023

Yeah I have thought of history repeating itself. We lose in the semi finals and spend the next few years pissing around trying to get promoted.

1987 lost to Charlton
1997 lost to Sheff Utd
1998 lost to Charlton
1999 lost to Bolton
2004 lost to West Ham
2005 lost to West Ham
2015 lost to Norwich

but yeah, let's look at the positives. FFS

Yes we are doing well, no doubt about that. However, what Frimley says is correct. We are throwing away too may points from games and positions where we should be putting our foot on the oppositions neck and not letting up. Transfers in January are a must, otherwise we will end up in the Play-offs and none of us want that. Some players need a bit of a kick up the backside or come the end of the season we will be looking forward to yet another season in this terrible league. Squad depth isn't looking that deep at the moment.
