Three top guys at the club and he asks about bottle top. His next question was going to be about the quality of napkins you get when buying a pie.
Surely I am not the only one who takes a bottle top in with me on the off chance of needing it. |

With clubs employing staff to teach their players about the pitfalls of social media, interviews etc, you would think that would solve the problem, but clearly it doesn't. It used to be gambling, or drinking, (just listen to any Way Parlour interview), and nowadays it's more about making yourself look a turd on Social Media. Happens in all walks of life I guess, but to answer your question, yes, some are completely thick. |

Well it's not as if he has been in this situation before is it. Oh hang on. Let's see what the courts decide before making further comment.
On a separate note, and in no way connected to this discussion, a guy I work with has just been banned for blowing over and it's his second offence. He now doesn't have a job, and he put his hand up and said he had been a d*ick and got what he deserved. We all agreed with him. Drink drivers should get what they deserve, and if that means losing your job, or having difficulty getting to your place of work, well better that than you going out and killing someone. |

Just got back home to Chelmsford from Farnborough. I didn't see a single petrol station either without a massive queue or just not open. Even South Mimms has run out. Think it might be a case of listening to the game on the radio then. |

Yes I do, even more so after tonight. Of course it is very early to say we are in a relegation fight, but you have to look at who we have played so far, and honestly say how many points you feel we should have picked up so far. I am pretty sure the figure would be a lot more than what we have now. The next 2 games for Cook are vital, and if there is no spark of improvement in those games, can you seriously see the owners sticking with him? This is not what they have signed up for, and I would be surprised to see him still at the club at the end of October. The excuse of players needing time is wearing thin. These are professional, full time footballers. We aren't talking about 11 blokes from the Dog & Duck who only play on a Sunday and are probably still half cut from the night before. |

There was an interview on TalkSport today with the guy who has been looking after the players, getting them ready for the mental side of taking penalties. Think we should ask for a refund. |

Totally agree. Would not have picked those for the penalties. Saying that, I wouldn't have made the substitutions he made either. He got us to the final, so we should be proud of them for that. Tim to concentrate on the Town now. |

No one can condone violence or threats of violence, no matter the reason. What we can do though is to give that person the chance to learn that their behaviour is not acceptable and society expects better. Should his career be ended by this? Good question.
So I assume we could be looking for a new striker after his hearing on 12 July then?

I totally get people saying Chambers is a great man, and I don't dispute that at all. However, I know some great men and women, people who I have a lot of respect for, but that doesn't make them great footballers. We desperately need footballers, and a way of winning games at this club, not just great people. For me, that is all that matters when it comes to ITFC. |
