I know this will be contentious but we were fools to lose MM. He performed miracles with zero money. Those heady days of playoffs seem a long time ago now. |

The thing is, budget has EVERYTHING to do with it nowadays. Without money you simply are to going to win. Going by your attitude blue75 you think it's just a matter of "trying a bit harder" which is ridiculous. It's about more than that. |

I don't post often. Just lurk generally. I can't believe people are still moaning about today's result. In his time at Town, McCarthy has spent £1.5m. In the same period Norwich have spent £57m. Let's have a little perspective about our results and expecations of our manager, eh? |

Oh god. Here we go. "McCarthy out" and all that drivel. The people on here need to think back about 4 years and see the state we were in. It's pathetic. |

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. What a joke! We are 1 point off the playoffs and still people complain. Quiver read on this thread that apparently it's worse than the a jewell/Keane era! Really? I seem to remember standing in the away end at Posh being beaten 1-7. Now we are contending for a place to potentially get promoted into this countries premier division after spending little more than a family monthly shopping budget on new players!!! What is wrong you some of you people on here? It's meant to be a forum to support the club, not drag it down. Pathetic! |

My take on things.... ALL games left are winnable, although it's doubtful we will. We are in the mix for 6th place at this present time. If we do scrape in the look at the other teams: Derby: 1 win, 1 unlucky draw. Beatable Reading: patchy at best, beatable Wigan: tough one there but beatable on our day QPR: not won in 4 and having an end of season slump it would appear. Beatable IF we make it into the playoffs it will be a massive coup considering our budget. If we don't, then it's still a massive improvement over the last 6 years. How anyone can criticise is beyond me. IF, and it's a massive IF we get promoted via the playoffs it will just go to show that MM is one of the best tacticians around making the most of his very restricted resources. Personally, I don't actually want to get promoted this year as we'll get smashed from pillar to post. I'd rather we had another year of building and 'do a Leicester' next season. That way we'll have more money and attract a higher quality of player. COYB. |

I love it! 7 points from 9 against teams either above us or fighting around us and yet still the moaners moan. What short memories some people have. This time last year we were fighting relegation due to the damage done by previous managers, yet the moaners still call for Micks head on a stick because he's not 'exciting enough'. Maybe we should go back to 'being exciting' and shipping 6 goals every week? I know what I'd prefer given the choice. Come on people, stop with all the negativity and get behind the team. We are in much better shape than we have been for years and MM has worked miracles considering the budget he's had. |

Twice in our history and Lee Martin has the honour of being involved both times. Please god, don't let Mick re-sign that liability. Well done the other 9 who fought like Trojans to try and win us a point. COYB |

oh dear, poor Simon. Having to earn all that money in return for having to work hard and not see his family for a few days. Try spending 4 to 6 months away from your family in Afghanistan for a fraction of the pay you were receiving, you whining failure!!! These sort of comments really show how committed he was. |

We need to ditch Martin to be honest....all season he's run around like a headless chicken. He over/under hits corners EVERY time. The effort is there but he hardly ever comes up with the end product. |
